3. Configuració

3.1 Càrrega del dispositiu

The scanner is powered by a built-in Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the scanner to a power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will typically show the charging status.

3.2 Modes de connexió

The Symcode scanner supports three primary connection modes: 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth, and USB Cable. Choose the mode that best suits your operational environment.

3.2.1 Connexió sense fil 2.4G

  1. Insert the 2.4G wireless dongle into an available USB port on your computer or host device.
  2. Power on the scanner. It should automatically connect to the dongle.
  3. A successful connection is usually indicated by a specific LED light pattern or sound.

3.2.2 Connexió Bluetooth

  1. Power on the scanner and activate Bluetooth pairing mode (refer to the device's specific instructions for entering pairing mode, often by scanning a special barcode or holding a button).
  2. On your host device (smartphone, tablet, or computer), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  3. Select the scanner from the list (e.g., 'BarCode Scanner') to pair.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Canvi de mode

The scanner features a toggle switch to select between 1D/2D/QR Barcode Mode, UHF RFID Mode, or a Hybrid Mode (Barcode + RFID).

4.2 Escaneig de codis de barres

In 1D/2D/QR Barcode Mode, aim the scanner's light beam at the barcode you wish to read. Ensure the entire barcode is within the scanning area. Press the trigger button to initiate the scan. A successful scan is typically indicated by an audible beep and/or a visual confirmation light.

4.3 RFID UHF Tag Lectura/Escriptura

In UHF RFID Mode, position the scanner's RFID antenna near the RFID tag. The maximum read range is approximately 30cm. Press the trigger button to read the tag's data. The scanner can also be used for writing data to compatible RFID tags, depending on the software application used.

The scanner supports RFID ultra-high frequencies: 920-925MHz / 902-928MHz / 865-868MHz.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja

Per netejar l'escàner, utilitzeu un drap suau iamp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the device's surface or internal components. Ensure the device is powered off before cleaning.

5.2 Emmagatzematge

Store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.

5.3 Durabilitat

The scanner features an anti-shock design, engineered to withstand accidental drops. It remains functional after multiple drops from a height of 2.5 meters (8 feet) onto concrete surfaces.
