2. Instruccions de seguretat

Sempre observeu les precaucions de seguretat bàsiques quan utilitzeu aparells elèctrics per reduir el risc d'incendi, descàrrega elèctrica i/o lesions a les persones, incloent-hi les següents:

• Llegiu atentament totes les instruccions abans d'utilitzar l'aparell.
• No submergiu l'aparell, el cable d'alimentació ni l'endoll en aigua ni en altres líquids.

• Ristretto: For a short, concentrated espresso.

• Vapor: Activates the steam wand for frothing milk.
• Inici/Parada: Initiates or stops the brewing process.

4. Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Traieu amb cura la màquina de cafè i tots els accessoris de l'embalatge. Conserveu l'embalatge per a futurs transports o emmagatzematge.
2. Col·locació: Col·loqueu la màquina sobre una superfície estable, plana i resistent a la calor, allunyada de fonts d'aigua i de la llum solar directa. Assegureu-vos que hi hagi una ventilació adequada al voltant de la màquina.
3. Dipòsit d'aigua: Remove the water tank, rinse it with fresh water, and fill it with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX level. Reinsert the tank securely.
4. Tremuja de mongetes: Open the lid of the bean hopper and fill it with whole coffee beans. Do not use ground coffee, instant coffee, or caramelized beans in the bean hopper.
5. Safata de degoteig: Ensure the drip tray and coffee grounds container are correctly installed.

7. Cicle de primer ús: Upon first power-on, the machine may perform an initial rinsing cycle. Follow any on-screen prompts.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Elaboració de cafè

1. Assegureu-vos que el dipòsit d'aigua estigui ple i que el contenidor de grans de cafè contingui grans de cafè.
2. Col·loqueu una o dues tasses sota el broc del cafè.
3. Select your desired coffee type (e.g., Espresso, Long Coffee) from the control panel. You can adjust the intensity or volume if available on the display.
4. Premeu el botó Inici/Parada button to begin brewing. The machine will grind the beans and dispense the coffee.
5. To stop brewing prematurely, press the Inici/Parada botó de nou.

5.2. Using the Steam Wand (for milk frothing)

1. Ompliu una gerra amb llet freda.
2. Col·loca la gerra sota la vareta de vapor.
3. Seleccioneu el Vapor function on the control panel. Wait for the machine to heat up and indicate it's ready.
4. Submergeix la punta de la vareta de vapor just per sota de la superfície de la llet.
5. Open the steam valve (if applicable) or press the start button to release steam. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam.
6. Once desired foam and temperature are reached, close the steam valve/stop steam.
7. Immediately clean the steam wand after use with a damp drap per evitar que s'assequin els residus de llet.

6.2. Cicle de neteja

The machine features an automatic cleaning cycle. When prompted by the machine or as part of regular maintenance:

2. Premeu el botó Mode net button and follow the instructions on the display.
3. Note: Cleaning tablets and water filters are not included with the machine and must be purchased separately.

6.3. Descalcificació

The machine will indicate when descaling is required. Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines and follow the instructions provided with the descaler.
