2. Configuració

2.1 Desembalatge i càrrega inicial

2.2 Assembling the Maze

  • The set includes 16 green maze grids that connect together to form a larger play area. Snap the grids together to create your desired maze layout.
  • Use the 22 purple maze walls to define paths and obstacles within your maze. These walls fit into the grooves on the maze grids.
  • Place the 3 orange tunnels over the maze grids to create additional pathways or challenges.
  • Position the yellow cheese wedge at the end of your maze, as Colby's target.

3. Instruccions de funcionament

3.1 Powering On Colby

  • Locate the power switch on the underside of Colby the Robot Mouse.
  • Slide the switch to the 'ON' position. Colby's eyes will light up, indicating it is ready for programming.

3.2 Programming Colby

  • Use the 30 double-sided coding cards to plan Colby's path through the maze. Each card represents a specific command (e.g., forward, turn left, turn right).
  • Lay out the sequence of coding cards that Colby needs to follow to reach the cheese.
  • On Colby's back, press the corresponding colored arrow buttons in the exact sequence you laid out with the coding cards. Colby can be programmed for up to 40 steps.
  • Colby also features an 'Action' button (red lightning bolt symbol) which can be programmed to perform special effects like moving forward and back, making a 'SQUEAAKK' sound, or 'CHIRP-CHIRP-CHIRP' with light-up eyes.

3.3 Executing the Program

  • Once the sequence of commands is entered, place Colby at the starting point of your maze.
  • Press the green 'GO' button on Colby's back to execute the programmed steps.
  • Watch Colby navigate the maze. If Colby successfully reaches the cheese, it will light up and squeak.

3.4 Clearing the Program

  • To clear all programmed steps and start a new sequence, press and hold the yellow 'CLEAR' button on Colby's back until you hear a confirmation sound.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Charging Colby the Robot Mouse

  • Colby is equipped with a rechargeable battery. When the battery is low, Colby may begin to beep and flash its eyes, and the 'GO' button may become disabled.
  • To recharge, connect the included USB-C cord to Colby and a USB power source.
  • A full charge typically takes a few hours and provides extended playtime.
  • Always ensure Colby is turned 'OFF' when not in use to conserve battery life.
