3. Configuració i instal·lació

Proper installation is crucial for the display's functionality and your safety. Ensure your e-bike motor is a BAFANG BBS series (BBS01B, BBS02B, BBSHD) with UART protocol before proceeding.

3.1. Comprovació de compatibilitat

The DPC18 display is designed exclusively for BAFANG BBS series mid-drive motors that use the 5-pin female round UART protocol connector. It is not compatible with CAN protocol (5-pin male triangular) or other brands/types of motors, including BAFANG hub motors or other BAFANG mid-drive motors not specified.

3.2. Muntatge de la pantalla

1. Tria la ubicació: Select a suitable position on your handlebar for the display and control pad. Ensure it does not obstruct your view or interfere with braking/shifting.
2. Adjuntar el muntatge: Secure the handlebar mount bracket to your handlebar using the provided screws and rings. The mount is adjustable for handlebar diameters between 25.4mm and 31.8mm.
3. Pantalla segura: Slide the DPC18 display onto the mount until it clicks into place.
4. Position Control Pad: Attach the control pad to a comfortable position near your thumb for easy access during riding.

3.3. Connexió dels cables

Connect the display's cable to the corresponding UART port on your BAFANG mid-drive motor's wiring harness (typically a BFANG 1T4 cable). Ensure the 5-pin round connectors are aligned correctly and firmly pushed together to create a secure, waterproof connection.

The display supports adaptive voltage for 36V, 43V, and 48V e-bike systems, automatically adjusting to your battery's voltage.

4. Funcionament

The DPC18 display provides comprehensive information and control over your e-bike system. All interactions are performed via the external control pad.

4.1. Encès / apagat

• Per encendre: Press and hold the power button on the control pad.
• Per apagar: Premeu i manteniu premut el botó d'engegada de nou fins que la pantalla s'apagui.

4.2. Mostra informació

The 3.5-inch HD screen clearly shows various riding parameters:

• Velocitat actual (km/h o mph)
• Indicador de nivell de bateria
• Nivell d'assistència al pedaleig (PAS)
• Distància del viatge
• Comptaquilòmetres total
• Estimated Remaining Range (calculated based on PAS level)
• Error Codes (if any)

4.3. Adjusting Pedal Assist Levels (PAS)

Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the control pad to cycle through the 0-9 pedal assist levels. Level 0 provides no assistance, while Level 9 provides maximum assistance.

4.4. Automatic Backlight

The display features an automatic backlight function that adjusts screen brightness according to ambient light conditions. This ensures readability in both bright daylight and low-light environments.

4.5. Port de càrrega USB
