1. Introducció

The XRCLIF Wood Moisture Meter is a versatile digital instrument designed to accurately measure the moisture content of various materials, including wood, paper, cardboard, and construction materials like walls, concrete, and drywall. • Built-in Pins: Used to penetrate the material for moisture measurement.
• Pantalla LCD: Shows moisture content, temperature, wood type, and other indicators.
• Botó °C/°F: Toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature display, and also used for type selection/zero point calibration.
• Botó MODE: Selects material type (wood groups, construction material) and activates backlight.
• Botó HOLD: Freezes the current reading on the display and acts as the power button.

4. Configuració

4.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The XRCLIF Wood Moisture Meter requires two AA batteries for operation. Ensure you use fresh alkaline batteries for optimal performance.

1. Locate the leather cover at the bottom of the meter.
2. Gently remove the leather cover to access the battery compartment.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Encendre/apagar

• Per encendre el mesurador, manteniu premut el botó MANTENIM button for approximately 2 seconds. The LCD display will illuminate.
• The meter features an automatic power-off function to conserve battery life. It will turn off after a period of inactivity.
• Per apagar manualment, premeu i manteniu premut el botó MANTENIM de nou el botó fins que la pantalla s'apagui.

5.2. Material Selection (Wood Groups / Construction Material)

The meter offers different modes for various materials to ensure accurate readings.

1. With the meter powered on, press the MODE button to cycle through the available material types.
2. The display will show indicators like "TREE" for wood or "BLDG" for construction materials, along with a number (1-8 for wood groups, or a specific indicator for construction material).
3. Refer to the meter's internal wood group chart (if available in the full manual) to select the appropriate group for the wood you are testing.

5.3. Selecció de la unitat de temperatura

5.5. Prendre una mesura

To obtain an accurate moisture reading:

1. Remove the protective cap from the pins.
2. Carefully push the pins into the material you wish to measure. Ensure both pins penetrate the surface adequately for good contact.

5.6. Funció de retenció de dades

Per congelar la lectura actual a la pantalla:

• Premeu breument MANTENIM button while a measurement is being taken. The "HOLD" icon will appear on the display.
• Premeu el botó MANTENIM button again to release the reading and return to live measurement mode.

• Neteja: Wipe the meter with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
