2. Instruccions de seguretat

4. Configuració
Before first use, ensure the machine is properly assembled and positioned.
- Desembalatge: Traieu amb cura tots els components de l'embalatge. Comproveu si hi ha algun dany durant l'enviament.
- Muntatge: Follow the assembly instructions provided in the separate assembly guide (if applicable) for attaching components such as the outfeed support and dust extraction adapter.
- Posicionament: Place the planer thicknesser on a stable, level surface capable of supporting its weight (23.9 kg) and the workpiece. Ensure adequate space around the machine for safe operation and material handling.
- Connexió d'alimentació: Connect the machine to a grounded AC power outlet that matches the voltage and frequency specified on the machine's rating plate.
- Sistema d'extracció de pols: Attach a suitable dust extraction system to the Ø 100 mm connection port. This is crucial for maintaining a clean work environment and for the machine's proper function.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
This section details the procedures for both planing and thicknessing operations.
5.1 Funcionament general
- Always ensure the workpiece is free of nails, screws, or other foreign objects that could damage the blades.
- Use a push stick or sliding block when feeding small workpieces to maintain a safe distance from the blades.
- Never attempt to plane or thickness material that is too short or too thin to be safely controlled.
5.2 Planing Operation
- Adjust the planing table to the desired depth of cut using the crank. The maximum material removal for planing is 3 mm per pass.
- Ensure the fence is set to the desired angle (typically 90 degrees for square edges).
- Turn on the machine. Allow the motor to reach full speed before feeding the workpiece.
- Feed the workpiece smoothly and consistently across the planing table, maintaining firm pressure against the fence and table.
5.3 Thicknessing Operation
- Adjust the thicknessing table to the desired thickness using the crank. The maximum material removal for thicknessing is 2 mm per pass.
- Ensure the outfeed support is extended if necessary for longer workpieces.
- Enceneu la màquina.
- Feed the workpiece into the thicknesser opening. The machine's feed rollers will pull the material through.
- Catch the workpiece as it exits the machine.
6. Manteniment
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your planer thicknesser.
- Neteja: After each use, disconnect the machine from power and clean off all sawdust and chips, especially from the tables, blades, and dust extraction port. Use a brush or compressed air.
