Configuració
1. Instal·lació i càrrega de la bateria
The RT-493 comes with a 2800mAh Li-ion battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

Instruccions de funcionament
1. Encendre/apagar i control de volum
Rotate the top-left knob clockwise to power on the radio. Continue rotating to increase volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off.
2. Selecció de canals
The RT-493 features 199 channels, including GMRS simplex and repeater channels. Rotate the top-right channel selector knob to choose your desired channel.

3. Transmissió i recepció
To transmit, press and hold the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to receive.
4. Funció VOX (centralita operada per veu)

- Pas 1: Power off the RT-493. Press and hold the PTT button, then power on the radio. Continue holding PTT until you hear three beep tones. The radio is now in frequency copy mode, indicated by a red flashing LED.
- Pas 2: Place the transmitting radio (the one you want to copy from) approximately 40cm (15.7 inches) away from the RT-493. Press the PTT button on the transmitting radio.
- Pas 3: If successful, you will hear one beep and the LED on the RT-493 will flash twice. The frequency is now saved. To copy the next channel, turn the channel knob on the RT-493.

6. UHF Scanning & Receiving
The RT-493 supports UHF scanning to find active channels.
To Activate Scanning: Briefly press Side Key 2 (SK2). The radio will begin scanning through channels. Press SK2 again to stop scanning.

7. High/Low Power Adjustment
