Top Panel Buttons:

• Vol. (+/-): Ajusta el nivell de volum.
• Mode: Switches between DAB, FM, and Bluetooth modes.

6. Configuració

6.1 Engegada inicial

1. Connect the supplied power adapter to the "DC IN" port on the rear of the unit.
2. Connecteu l'adaptador de corrent a una presa de corrent.
3. The unit will power on and automatically attempt to set the time and date via DAB signal.

6.2 Automatic Time and Date Setting

Upon initial power-up, the ORTUSDAB will automatically scan for DAB radio stations and synchronize its clock with the broadcast time. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure the unit is placed in an area with good DAB reception.

6.3 Manual Time and Date Setting (if auto-sync fails)

1. Manteniu premut el botó Temps establert botó. La pantalla de les hores parpellejarà.

7. Instruccions de funcionament

7.1 Radio Operation (DAB/DAB+/FM)

1. Seleccioneu el mode: Premeu el botó Mode button to cycle between DAB and FM radio modes.
2. Auto Scan (DAB): En mode DAB, premeu el botó Automàtic button to perform a full scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. The radio will store all found stations.
3. Manual Scan (FM): En mode FM, premeu el botó Escaneja button to search for the next available FM station.
4. Emissores de sintonització: Utilitza el Fletxa amunt/avall buttons (located on the right side of the top panel) to navigate through available stations (DAB) or fine-tune frequency (FM).
5. Establir presets: To store a station, tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the Predefinició (1-5) buttons until "Preset Stored" appears. To recall a preset, briefly press the corresponding Preestablert botó.
6. Ajustar el volum: Utilitza el Vol. + or Vol. - botons.

7.2 Funcionament Bluetooth

1. Introduïu el mode Bluetooth: Premeu el botó Mode button until "Bluetooth" is displayed. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
2. Maridatge: On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone), search for "ORTUSDAB" in the Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
3. Reproducció: Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the ORTUSDAB. Use your device or the ORTUSDAB's volume controls.

7.3 Configuració d'alarmes

The ORTUSDAB features two independent alarms.

1. Select Alarm: Manteniu premuda la tecla Alarma 1 or Alarma 2 botó. L'hora de l'alarma parpellejarà.

4. Set Alarm Volume: Ajusteu el volum de l'alarma amb Vol. + or Vol. -. Confirm with the Alarma botó.
5. Activa / desactiva l'alarma: Premeu breument Alarma 1 or Alarma 2 botó per activar o desactivar l'alarma. Apareixerà una icona d'alarma a la pantalla quan estigui activa.
6. Dormitar: Quan soni una alarma, premeu el botó Posposa button to temporarily silence it for a set period.
7. Atura l'alarma: To turn off an alarm completely, press any button other than Posposa.

7.4 Configuració de la pantalla

• Brillantor: Premeu el botó Brillantor button (represented by a sun icon) to cycle through different display brightness levels. The unit also features an automatic dimmer based on ambient light.

8. Manteniment

8.1 Neteja

To clean the unit, gently wipe the surfaces with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as these can damage the finish. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.

8.2 Antenna Care

The ORTUSDAB uses an internal antenna. For optimal reception, ensure the unit is placed in an open area, away from large metal objects or other electronic devices that may cause interference.
