The HyperReef 100 Gen 2 features three control buttons on the unit itself for basic operation:

- Neteja: Regularly clean the light's lens and heatsink to prevent salt creep and dust buildup. Disconnect the unit from power before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the lens. For stubborn deposits, isopropyl alcohol can be used sparingly.
