1. Connecting Your Speakers

The AVR-X1800H supports a 7.2 channel configuration, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Connect your speakers to the corresponding terminals on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).

For a 7.2 channel setup, connect front left, front right, center, surround left, surround right, surround back left, and surround back right speakers, along with up to two subwoofers.

Connect your video sources (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console, streaming device) to the HDMI IN ports on the receiver. Connect the HDMI OUT (ARC/eARC) port to your TV's HDMI input.

• The AVR-X1800H features 3 dedicated 8K HDMI inputs and 1 8K HDMI output, supporting 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz pass-through.
• Ensure your HDMI cables are rated for 8K or Ultra High Speed if using 8K/4K120Hz sources.

3. Connexió a la xarxa

Connect the receiver to your home network via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi for HEOS functionality, firmware updates, and internet radio.

• Amb cable: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the receiver.

4. Initial Setup Assistant and Audyssey Calibration

After connecting all components and powering on the receiver, the Denon Setup Assistant will guide you through the initial configuration steps on your TV screen. This includes speaker detection, network setup, and Audyssey MultEQ XT calibration.

• Use the supplied setup microphone to perform Audyssey calibration. This process measures your room's acoustics and optimizes speaker levels, distances, and equalization for the best sound experience.
• Place the microphone at various listening positions as prompted by the on-screen guide.

• Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization: Creates virtual height effects without physical height speakers.
• Select desired sound modes using the "MOVIE", "MUSIC", or "GAME" buttons on the remote, or cycle through modes via the "MODE" button.

3. HEOS Built-in for Streaming and Multi-Room Audio

HEOS Built-in allows you to stream music from various online services, network storage, or USB devices. It also enables multi-room audio by sharing music with other HEOS-enabled speakers.

4. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Connectivity

The receiver supports Bluetooth for direct audio streaming from mobile devices and Wi-Fi for network features.
