4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

Each MOICO T5 radio requires 3 AAA batteries (not included).

1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la ràdio.
2. Press down on the clip and slide the battery cover downwards to open.
3. Introduïu 3 piles AAA, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).
4. Replace the battery cover and slide it upwards until it clicks into place.

4.2 Col·locació del clip de cinturó

To attach the belt clip, slide it into the slot on the back of the radio until it locks into place. To remove, lift the tab and slide the clip upwards.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Encès/Apagat

Manteniu premut el botó Poder botó () for 3 seconds to turn the radio on or off.

5.2 Ajust del volum

Utilitza el Up () i Avall () buttons to adjust the speaker volume. The current volume level will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5.3 Selecció de canals

Your radio has 22 FRS channels.

1. Premeu el botó MENÚ botó () once. The channel number will flash.

3. Premeu el botó MENÚ button again or wait 5 seconds for the selection to be saved.

5.4 CTCSS/DCS Tone Selection (Privacy Codes)

CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) provides 99 privacy codes to minimize interference from other users on the same channel.

1. Premeu el botó MENÚ button twice. The CTCSS code will flash.
2. Utilitza el Up or Avall buttons to select your desired CTCSS code (01-99). Code 00 means no tone is selected.
3. Premeu el botó MENÚ button again or wait 5 seconds to confirm.

5.5 Transmissió i recepció

Per transmetre, premeu i manteniu premut el botó Talk/Call button (usually on the side of the radio). Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the button to receive. Ensure both radios are on the same channel and CTCSS code for communication.

5.6 Funció VOX (mans lliures)

VOX allows you to transmit by speaking into the microphone without pressing the Talk button. It has 3 sensitivity levels.

5.7 Bloqueig del teclat

Per evitar canvis accidentals a la configuració, manteniu premut el botó MENÚ button for 3 seconds until the Keypad Lock icon () appears on the LCD. Repeat to unlock.

5.8 Llanterna

Premeu el botó Lamp botó () to turn the built-in LED flashlight on or off. This feature is useful in low-light conditions.

• Up to 5 Miles: In ideal conditions, such as mountain-to-valley or open, unobstructed areas.
• Up to 3 Miles: In open water areas or rural environments with minimal obstructions.
• 0.6 - 1.2 Miles: In urban environments with buildings, trees, and other obstacles.

Factors such as terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference, and battery level can affect the range.

7. Manteniment

• Neteja: Utilitzeu un suau, damp drap per netejar l'exterior de la ràdio. No utilitzeu productes químics agressius ni netejadors abrasius.
