1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your RCV 2.

2. Instruccions de seguretat

Observeu sempre les següents precaucions de seguretat per reduir el risc d'incendi, descàrrega elèctrica o lesions:

• Llegiu totes les instruccions abans d'utilitzar l'aparell.
• No feu funcionar el robot en zones amb flames obertes o materials explosius.
• Mantingueu els cabells, la roba solta, els dits i totes les parts del cos lluny de les obertures i les parts mòbils.
• Do not pick up large objects, sharp objects, or liquids with the robot.
• Ensure the charging base is placed on a flat, stable surface against a wall, with clear space around it.
• Superviseu els nens i les mascotes mentre el robot està en funcionament.
• Only use the original charging adapter and accessories provided by Kärcher.
• Do not expose the robot or charging base to water or moisture.
• Abans de netejar o fer-ne el manteniment, assegureu-vos que el robot estigui apagat i desconnectat de la base de càrrega.

4. Configuració

4.1 Col·locació de la base de càrrega

1. Choose a location for the charging base against a wall, on a hard, level surface.
2. Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on either side of the charging base and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of it.
3. Plug the charging adapter into the charging base and then into a power outlet.

4.2 Càrrec inicial

1. Place the RCV 2 onto the charging base, ensuring the charging contacts align.
2. The robot will begin charging. Allow for a full charge before first use (approximately 4-5 hours). The indicator light on the robot will change to indicate a full charge.

4.3 Instal·lació del raspall lateral

Gently press the side brushes onto their respective posts on the underside of the robot until they click into place.

2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and add your RCV 2 device.
3. Ensure your robot is powered on and your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the pairing process.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Engegada/apagada

• To power on, press and hold the power button on the robot until the indicator lights illuminate.
• Per apagar-lo, premeu i manteniu premut el botó d'engegada fins que els llums indicadors s'apaguin.

5.2 modes de neteja

The RCV 2 offers multiple cleaning modes:

• Aspirar: For dry cleaning of dust, dirt, and pet hair on various floor types, including carpets.
• Fregar: For wet cleaning of hard floors. Fill the water reservoir and attach the microfiber mop pad.
• Combined Cleaning (Vacuum & Mop): The robot vacuums and mops simultaneously. Ensure the 2-in-1 reservoir is correctly installed with water and a mop pad.

5.3 Ús del comandament a distància

The remote control allows for direct operation and setting adjustments:

• Inici / Pausa: Press the play/pause button to start or pause cleaning.
• Control direccional: Use arrow buttons to manually steer the robot.
• Retorn a la base: Press the home button to send the robot back to its charging base.

5.4 Gyro Navigation

The RCV 2 utilizes gyroscopic navigation to map its environment and plan an efficient cleaning path. This ensures thorough coverage and prevents the robot from missing areas.

5.5 Anti-Drop and Collision Sensors

Equipped with anti-drop sensors, the RCV 2 detects stairs and ledges, preventing falls. Collision sensors and a side rubber bumper protect the robot and your furniture from impacts.

5.6 Automatic Return to Base

When the battery level is low or cleaning is complete, the RCV 2 will automatically return to its charging base. If the battery runs low during a cleaning cycle, it will recharge and resume cleaning from where it left off.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your RCV 2.

6.1 Buidar el contenidor de pols

1. Press the release button to remove the 2-in-1 reservoir from the robot.
2. Open the dust bin compartment and empty its contents into a waste bin.
3. Clean the dust bin with a dry cloth or brush.

6.2 Cleaning/Refilling the Water Tank

1. Remove the 2-in-1 reservoir.
2. Open the water tank cap and fill with clean water. Do not use detergents or cleaning solutions not approved by Kärcher.
3. After mopping, empty any remaining water and rinse the tank.

6.3 Cleaning Brushes and Filter

• Pinzell principal: Remove the main brush cover and lift out the brush. Use the provided cleaning tool to remove hair and debris.
• Raspalls laterals: Pull the side brushes off their posts. Remove any tangled hair or debris.
• Filtre: Tap the filter gently to remove dust. Rinse with water if necessary, but ensure it is completely dry before re-inserting. Replace the filter every 3-6 months depending on usage.

6.4 Neteja dels sensors

Wipe the anti-drop sensors (located on the underside) and collision sensors (on the bumper) with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper function.
