1. Fasten the Supporting Pole: Secure the supporting pole to the main base unit using the provided four screws and Allen wrench.

3.3. Software Installation and Usage (EZCAD & LightBurn)

The ComMarker Omni1 supports both EZCAD and LightBurn software. Install the necessary drivers and software from the provided USB drive.

3.3.1. EZCAD Software Installation

4. Open EZCAD: Navigate to the 'software15' folder within 'Omni 1' and double-click 'EZCAD2.exe' to open the software.
5. Load Correction File: In EZCAD, click 'Param (F3)'. Tick 'Use the correction file'. Browse to the 'plug' folder within 'software15' and select 'markcfg7'. Click 'OK'. Calibration is now finished.

3.3.2. LightBurn Software Installation

LightBurn is a powerful third-party software (license purchase needed) compatible with Mac and Windows.

1. Download LightBurn: Visit lightburnsoftware.com and download the appropriate version for your operating system.
2. Install LightBurn: Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts. Ensure to install the FTDI serial driver and EZCad2 driver (if prompted).
