Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Traieu amb cura tots els materials d'embalatge. Assegureu-vos que hi hagi tots els components.
2. Col·locació: Col·loqueu la màquina sobre una superfície estable i plana, allunyada de fonts d'aigua i de calor.
3. Neteja inicial: Wash the water tank, portafilter, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
4. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Fill the removable water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level. Reinsert the tank securely.
5. Cicle de primer ús: Before making coffee, perform a rinse cycle.
   • Connecteu la màquina.
   • Col·loqueu un recipient sota el portafiltre i la lança de vapor.
   • Press the power button to turn on. Wait for the machine to heat up (lights will stop flashing).
   • Press the single espresso button to dispense water. Repeat for the double espresso button.
   • Turn the steam knob to release steam for a few seconds, then close.

Instruccions de funcionament

Elaboració d'espresso

1. Preparar el cafè: Use fresh, finely ground coffee. For a single shot, use one scoop (approx. 7g); for a double shot, use two scoops (approx. 14g). Place coffee in the appropriate filter basket within the portafilter.
2. Tamp Cafè: Utilitzeu la tampper premsar els mòlts de cafè amb fermesa i uniformement.
3. Connecteu el portafiltre: Insert the portafilter into the group head and turn it firmly to the right until secure.
4. Col·loca la copa: Position your espresso cup(s) on the drip tray beneath the portafilter spouts.
5. Cervesa: Press the single or double espresso button. The machine will automatically stop when the programmed volume is reached.

Frothing Milk with the Steam Wand

1. Preparar la llet: Ompliu una gerra d'escuma d'acer inoxidable amb llet freda (làctica o no làctica) fins just per sota del broc.
2. Activa Steam: Press the steam button on the control panel. Wait for the steam indicator light to become solid.
3. Vareta de purga: Obriu breument el botó de vapor per alliberar l'aigua condensada. Tanqueu el botó.
4. Escuma de llet: Immerse the steam wand tip just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam knob. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam. Once desired texture and temperature are reached, close the steam knob and remove the pitcher.
5. Vareta neta: Netegeu immediatament la vareta de vapor amb aiguaamp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying. Briefly open the steam knob again to clear any internal milk.

Distribució d'aigua calenta

The machine can also dispense hot water for tea or other beverages.

1. Ensure the machine is heated up.
2. Col·loqueu una tassa sota la vareta de vapor.
3. Turn the steam knob to the hot water position (refer to machine markings). Hot water will dispense from the steam wand.
4. Gireu el botó cap enrere per tancar el flux d'aigua calenta.

Manteniment i Neteja

Neteja diària

• Portafiltres i cistelles de filtre: After each use, remove spent coffee grounds, rinse the portafilter and filter baskets under running water.
• Vareta de vapor: Clean immediately after each use as described in the "Frothing Milk" section.
• Exterior: Netegeu l'exterior de la màquina amb un damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius.

Neteja setmanal

• Dipòsit d'aigua: Remove and wash the water tank with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
• Cap de grup: Utilitza l'anunciamp cloth to wipe the group head screen and gasket.

Descalcificació

The machine will indicate when descaling is required (refer to specific light indicators in your machine's display). Descale every 2-3 months, or more frequently with hard water.

1. Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for espresso machines, following the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Ompliu el dipòsit d'aigua amb la solució descalcificadora i la barreja d'aigua.

4. Run several cycles of espresso and steam until the water tank is empty.
5. Rinse the water tank and refill with fresh water. Run several cycles of fresh water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.
