1. Introducció

Welcome to the user manual for your new Segway ZT3 Pro Electric Scooter. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your scooter to ensure safe and optimal use.

2. Pautes de seguretat

• Avoid riding in heavy rain, snow, or on slippery surfaces. The scooter has an IPX5 water resistance rating, but it is not designed for submersion.

• The Segway ZT3 Pro is UL Certified (UL2272/2271), ensuring high safety standards for electrical and battery components.

3. Configuració i ús inicial

3.1 Unboxing i muntatge

Upon unboxing, you will find the eKickScooter, a 3mm Allen wrench, screws, a battery charger, a thank you card, user manual, and important information. Follow these steps to assemble your scooter:

1. Place the eKickScooter on a flat surface. Unfold the kickstand to ensure stability.
2. Push the stem away from the base until it clicks into place. Close the quick release lever securely.
3. Organize the handlebar cables, then slide the handlebar into the stem. Ensure the headlight faces forward.
4. Use the Allen wrench to insert and tighten the four screws in the suggested order (refer to the video for visual guidance).

3.2 Initial Charging and Activation

For first-time use, the scooter's battery needs to be activated. Plug the charger into a power source and then into the scooter's charging port. The LED on the charger will change from red to green when fully charged (approx. 4 hours).

• Open the rubber plug on the charging port.
• Insert the charger plug. The scooter is fully charged when the charger's LED turns green.
• When done charging, reinsert the integrated rubber plug.
• To activate the battery for first use, plug the scooter into the charger for at least 3 seconds.
• Note on Sleep Mode: If the battery power is 30% or less and the scooter hasn't been powered on for about 7 consecutive days, it will enter sleep mode. In this state, it cannot be powered on until charged to 30% or higher.

3.3 Activació de l'aplicació

To fully activate your scooter and access all features, download the Segway-Ninebot App (version 6.6.6 or above) and create an account.

1. Enceneu l'eKickScooter.
2. Open the Segway-Ninebot App on your smartphone. Tap 'Search Vehicle' and pair with your eKickScooter.
3. Follow the in-app instructions, including watching the riding safety video.
4. Tap to activate the eKickScooter. By default, the speed mode is set to 'D' (Drive) mode, with a limited speed of 12.4 mph (20 km/h).

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Riding Your Scooter

• Enceneu l'eKickScooter.
• Fold the kickstand up.
• Stand on the footboard with one foot and push off with the other foot to start.
• Premeu l'accelerador per accelerar.
• To slow down, release the throttle and squeeze the brake lever.
• Nota de seguretat: For your safety, the motor will not engage until the eKickScooter reaches 1.9 mph (3 km/h). The start speed can be adjusted via the Segway-Ninebot App.

4.2 modes de velocitat

Press the mode button (M) to switch between speed modes:

• E Mode (Eco Mode): Max speed 9.3 mph (15 km/h). Designed for extended range.
• D Mode (Drive Mode): Max speed 12.4 mph (20 km/h). Default mode.
• S Mode (Sport Mode): Max speed 24.9 mph (40 km/h). For maximum performance.
• Mode de caminada: Max speed 3.1 mph (5 km/h). Assists users when walking the scooter.

4.3 Lights and Indicators

• Press the power button after powering on to turn on the headlight. Press again to turn it off.
• The tail light flashes continuously and cannot be turned off.
• Press the direction indicator button (left or right) when turning. Press again to turn it off.

4.4 Advanced Riding Features

• Sistema de control de tracció (TCS): Helps maintain rear wheel stability on slippery or uneven surfaces. Enable/disable via the Segway-Ninebot App.
• Hill-Hold Assist: Prevents the scooter from rolling backward on inclines. Activate via the custom button after enabling in the app.
• Control de creuer: Maintain a constant speed effortlessly. Enable in the app and activate when riding above 3.1 mph.
• Energy Recovery System: Reclaims energy during braking or coasting to extend range.

5. Smart Features & Connectivity

The Segway ZT3 Pro offers advanced smart features for enhanced control and security.

• Segway-Ninebot App: Customize speed modes, manage locking functions, schedule charging, monitor battery life, and track ride statistics.
• Apple Find My Integration: Easily track your scooter's location using the Apple Find My network. Activate this feature through the Segway-Ninebot app.
• Autonomous Unlocking (AirLock): Automatically locks/unlocks your eKickScooter as you approach or leave it. Customize the unlocking distance in the app.
• Digital & Pattern Codelock: Secure your scooter with a customizable digital or pattern-based lock via the app or handlebar controls.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Inflat dels pneumàtics

The 11-inch off-road tubeless tires require proper inflation for optimal performance and safety. The recommended PSI is 45 PSI.

1. Unscrew the valve cap on the tire.
2. Connect a pump to the tire valve system.
3. Add air until the recommended PSI is reached.

6.2 Battery Management System (BMS 2.0)

The ZT3 Pro features an advanced Battery Management System (BMS 2.0) that protects against overcharging, overheating, and short circuits. It also offers new functions:

• Monitor battery lifecycle and health.

6.3 Atenció general

• Regularly inspect the scooter for any loose parts, damage, or wear.

• Guardeu el patinet en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.

7. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter any issues with your Segway ZT3 Pro, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• El patinet no s'encén: Ensure the battery is charged above 30% and activated (for first use). Check all connections.
• El motor no s'engega: Ensure the scooter is pushed off to at least 1.9 mph (3 km/h) before pressing the throttle.
• Problemes de connectivitat amb l'aplicació: Assegura't que el Bluetooth estigui activat al telèfon i que el patinet estigui encès. Prova de reiniciar tots dos dispositius.
• Abnormal movement alert: The scooter detects unauthorized movement when powered off. This triggers an alarm and locks the wheels to prevent theft.

9. Garantia i assistència

9.1 Cobertura de la garantia

The Segway ZT3 Pro comes with a limited manufacturer's warranty:
