1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Devialet Mania Portable Smart Speaker. Please read these instructions carefully before using the device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

3. Configuració

3.1 Càrrec inicial

Before first use, fully charge your Devialet Mania speaker. Connect the power cable to the charging dock, then place the speaker on the dock. The LED indicator will show charging status.

3.2 Devialet App Installation

For full functionality and optimal setup, download the Devialet App on your smartphone or tablet. The app guides you through Wi-Fi setup, personalization, and equalizer adjustments.

3.3 Connexió de xarxa

The Devialet Mania supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. For the best audio experience and smart features like Alexa, connect via Wi-Fi using the Devialet App. For portable use outdoors, Bluetooth 5.0 is available.

• Wi-Fi: Use the Devialet App to connect to your home Wi-Fi network. This enables Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, and Alexa functionality.
• Bluetooth: To connect via Bluetooth, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker until the indicator light flashes. Then, select "Devialet Mania" from your device's Bluetooth settings.

4.1 Encès/Apagat

To power on the speaker, press and hold the power button until the indicator lights illuminate. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the lights turn off.

Once connected via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, you can stream audio from your compatible devices. The speaker features adaptive sound technology for optimal audio rendering in any environment.

• Active Stereo Calibration (ASC): Real-time acoustic mapping adjusts audio rendering based on the speaker's surroundings.
• Speaker Active Matching (SAM): Adapts the sound signal to deliver optimal fidelity across all frequencies.
• Cross-Stereo Architecture: Provides a consistent stereo sound experience regardless of your position around the speaker.

4.3 Control per veu (Alexa)

With Alexa Built-in, you can control your speaker and access smart assistant features using voice commands when connected to Wi-Fi.

4.4 Multiroom Setup (AirPlay 2)

For iOS users, the Devialet Mania is AirPlay 2 compatible, allowing for multiroom audio setups with other compatible speakers.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja

To clean the speaker, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. Do not immerse the speaker in water.

6. Solució De Problemes

6.1 Sense poder

• Verify the power cable and charging dock are properly connected.

6.2 Problemes de connectivitat

• Bluetooth: Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode and within range of your device. Forget the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pair.
• Wi-Fi: Check your Wi-Fi network connection. Restart your router and the speaker. Use the Devialet App to reconfigure Wi-Fi settings.

6.3 Sound Distortion or Low Volume

6.4 Slow Boot-up or Connection

The speaker may take 15-25 seconds to boot up and connect to Wi-Fi. This is normal behavior. When switching to Bluetooth after Wi-Fi, you may need to manually select the speaker in your device's Bluetooth settings.
