The Y&H 30A Solar Panel Charge Controller is designed to manage the power flow from solar panels to batteries in a solar system. It is compatible with 12V and 24V systems and supports various battery types, including lead-acid (OPEN, AGM, GEL), lithium-ion, and lithium iron phosphate batteries. This controller features a backlight LCD display for monitoring system parameters and dual USB outputs for charging electronic devices.

It incorporates an industrial-grade STM8 microprocessor and utilizes Power MOSFET as an electronic switch, ensuring efficient and reliable operation. The controller is equipped with multiple protection functions to safeguard the battery and the system.

4. Connexió del sistema

Follow these steps to connect the solar charge controller to your system. Always connect components in the specified order to prevent damage.

  1. Connecteu la bateria: Connect the battery to the charge regulator's battery terminals (plus and minus). Ensure correct polarity.
  2. Connect the Photovoltaic Module (Solar Panel): Connect the solar panel to the regulator's solar panel terminals (plus and minus). Ensure correct polarity.
  3. Connect the Load: Connect the DC load to the charge regulator's load terminals (plus and minus). Ensure correct polarity.

Nota: The reverse order applies when de-installing. Disconnect the load first, then the solar panel, and finally the battery. An improper sequence order can damage the controller.

5. Battery Type Settings

The controller supports three types of batteries. It is crucial to select the correct battery type for optimal charging and battery lifespan. The factory default setting is B2 (Lithium-ion battery).

To change the battery type, refer to the "LCD Display and Settings" section for navigation instructions.
