The Loncin 196cc Vertical Shaft Gasoline Engine, Model 200V, is designed as a replacement engine for various lawnmower applications. It features a 22.2 x 80 mm vertical shaft. Its compact structure and reduced weight contribute to easy maneuverability and simple operations. The engine incorporates an auto-choke system for facilitated starting, even in colder conditions, and automotive-grade sealing to ensure reliability and prevent leaks. An elevated oil dipstick simplifies oil addition during maintenance.

3. Informació de seguretat
Always prioritize safety when handling and operating the engine. Read and understand all safety decals on the engine and in this manual.

- Parts calentes: Engine components can become extremely hot during operation and remain hot for a period after shutdown. CAUTION! HIGH TEMPERATURE PART! DON'T TOUCH IT! Allow the engine to cool before performing any maintenance or adjustments.
- Seguretat del combustible: Gasoline is highly flammable. Store fuel in approved containers, in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources. Refuel outdoors, with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke while refueling.
- Ventilació: Operate the engine in a well-ventilated area. Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, and poisonous gas.
- Equips de protecció individual (EPI): Wear appropriate safety gear, such as gloves and eye protection, when working with the engine.

4. Configuració i instal·lació
4.1 Desembalatge
Carefully remove the engine from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Keep all packaging materials until you are sure the engine is in good working order.

4.2 Afegir oli de motor
IMPORTANT: The engine is shipped WITHOUT oil. Failure to add the correct amount and type of oil before starting will result in permanent engine damage and void the warranty. Refer to the 'Specifications' section for oil capacity and recommended oil type.

- Slowly add the recommended engine oil (refer to specifications for type and capacity) until the oil level reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. The elevated oil dipstick position facilitates this process.

4.3 Afegir combustible
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 fuel or mix oil with gasoline.

- Fill the fuel tank carefully, avoiding overfilling. Leave space for fuel expansion.

4.4 Muntatge del motor
Mount the engine securely to the lawnmower deck or equipment frame using appropriate hardware. Ensure the vertical shaft is correctly aligned with the blade adapter or drive mechanism. Consult your lawnmower's specific instructions for mounting procedures.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Starting the Engine (Recoil Start)
- Ensure the engine has sufficient oil and fuel.

- If equipped, ensure the engine switch is in the "ON" position.
- The engine features an auto-choke system, simplifying cold starts. No manual choke adjustment is typically required.
- Grasp the recoil starter handle firmly. Pull the rope slowly until you feel resistance, then pull quickly and smoothly with a full arm stroke.
- Allow the rope to rewind slowly. Repeat if necessary until the engine starts.
5.2 Parar el motor
To stop the engine, move the engine switch to the "OFF" position. Allow the engine to cool down before storage or further handling.
6. Manteniment
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your engine. Always ensure the engine is off and cool before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Oli de motor

6.2 Filtre d'aire
The engine uses a sponge filter element. A dirty air filter will reduce engine performance and lifespan.

- Clean the element with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely. Alternatively, replace with a new filter element.
- Reinstall the dry filter element and air filter cover.
