1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Milex 15L Air Cooler, Model MAC004. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and retain it for future reference.

3. Configuració

Desembalatge

1. Traieu amb cura el refrigerador d'aire del seu embalatge.

Ompliment del dipòsit d'aigua

The air cooler operates by evaporating water, which requires the water tank to be filled.

1. Assegureu-vos que l'aparell estigui desconnectat de la presa de corrent.
2. Locate the water tank at the bottom rear of the unit. Gently pull it out.
3. Fill the water tank with clean, cool water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the tank.
4. For enhanced cooling, place the included ice packs (after freezing) into the water tank.
5. Carefully slide the water tank back into its position until it is securely seated.

Col·locació

Place the air cooler on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow, typically at least 20 cm from walls or furniture.

4. Funcionament

Tauler de control i control remot

The Milex 15L Air Cooler can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the provided remote control. The functions are identical.

Botons del tauler de control:

• ON/OFF: Encén o apaga la unitat.
• Velocitat: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Mid, High).
• Mode: Selects operating mode (Normal, Nature, Sleep).
• swing: Activates or deactivates the automatic horizontal swing function.
• Genial: Turns the evaporative cooling function on or off.
• Temporitzador: Configura el temporitzador de funcionament (fins a 7.5 hores).

Modes de funcionament

• Mode de repòs: Operates at a lower, quieter speed, often gradually decreasing fan speed over time for comfortable sleep.

Ús del temporitzador

Press the 'Timer' button repeatedly to set the desired operating duration in increments (e.g., 0.5h, 1h, 1.5h, up to 7.5 hours). The unit will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

• Oscil·lació horitzontal: Press the 'Swing' button on the control panel or remote to activate the automatic left and right oscillation of the louvers. Press again to stop.
• Ajust vertical: Manually adjust the horizontal louvers to direct the airflow up or down as desired.

Neteja del dipòsit d'aigua

To prevent mold and mildew growth, clean the water tank regularly, especially if the unit is not used daily.

1. Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.
2. Buideu l'aigua restant.
3. Wash the tank with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
4. Deixeu que el dipòsit s'assequi completament a l'aire abans de tornar-lo a inserir a la unitat.

Neteja del filtre d'aire

The air filter should be cleaned periodically to maintain airflow and cooling efficiency.

1. Desendolleu la unitat.
2. Locate and remove the air filter, typically found at the rear of the unit.
3. Gently rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it. Do not use the unit without the filter.

Emmagatzematge

If the air cooler will not be used for an extended period:

1. Perform a thorough cleaning of the unit, especially the water tank and filter.
2. Ensure all components are completely dry.
3. Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight.
