- From Exterior: Use the provided key to lock or unlock the deadbolt. The handleset can also be locked/unlocked via the key.

Using SmartKey Technology
The SmartKey feature allows you to re-key your lock to a new key in seconds, providing convenience and enhanced security.
- Insert your functioning key into the lock.
- Rotate the key 90 degrees clockwise.
- Insert the SmartKey reset tool fully into the small hole on the cylinder.
- Remove the SmartKey reset tool and the functioning key.
- Insert the new key you wish to use.

- Remove the new key. The lock is now re-keyed to the new key.
