Configuració i instal·lació

1. Main Dash Cam Installation

Follow these steps to properly install the WOLFBOX i17 dash cam on your vehicle's front windshield.

1. Clean the selected area on your front windshield thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion.
2. Peel off the red protective film from the 3M adhesive sticker on the dash cam bracket.
3. Select an optimal installation location on the front windshield, typically near the rearview mirall, assegurant-vos que no us obstrueixi view.
4. Carefully fix the i17 at the selected position and adjust its angle to capture the desired view del camí per davant.

6. Connect the car charger to your vehicle's cigarette lighter port and plug the Type-C cable into the i17 dash cam's power port. The dash cam will power on automatically when the vehicle starts.

Install the rear camera to capture footage from behind your vehicle.

1. Route the 20-feet rear camera cable from the main dash cam unit along the gap between the car body and the ceiling on the passenger side.
2. Continue routing the cable between the rear seat and the ceiling, hiding it into the welt.
3. Select a suitable installation location on the rear windshield. Clean the area thoroughly.
4. Peel off the 3M adhesive from the rear camera and firmly stick it to the chosen spot on the rear windshield.

3. Hardwire Kit Installation (Optional)

For advanced parking monitoring features, a hardwire kit (sold separately) is required. This provides continuous power to the dash cam even when the vehicle is off.

1. Route the hardwire kit cable from the dash cam along the front windshield gap, down the A-pillar, and to your vehicle's fuse box. The fuse box location may vary by vehicle model (e.g., in the trunk for some BMWs).
2. The hardwire kit typically comes with three wires: red, yellow, and black.
3. Connect the red wire to an ACC (Accessory) fuse that receives power only when the ignition is on.
4. Connect the yellow wire to a B+ (Battery Positive) fuse that provides constant power.
5. Connect the black wire to a ground point on the vehicle's chassis.
6. Refer to your vehicle's fuse box diagram or owner's manual to identify the correct fuse locations for ACC and B+ connections.

The WOLFBOX i17 automatically powers on and begins recording when connected to power and the vehicle ignition is turned on. It powers off automatically when the ignition is turned off.

WiFi Connection & App Control

The i17 features 5.8GHz WiFi for faster file transfer and seamless app control. This allows you to preview, download, and share videos directly from your smartphone.

   • Method 1 (Menu): Press the 'M' button to enter the menu, navigate to 'Settings', select the 'WiFi' option, and turn it on.

3. The WiFi SSID and password will appear on the dash cam screen.
4. Open the WOLFBOX app on your smartphone. Click "Add Device" and select "Camera".
5. Go to your phone's WiFi settings, find the corresponding SSID (e.g., WOLFBOX-i17_XXXX), and enter the password (default: 12345678).
6. Once connected, you can see the real-time recording on your phone. Tap the bottom left corner to play back and download videos. Tap 'Settings' within the app to customize your dash cam's settings.

Parking Monitoring Modes

The WOLFBOX i17 offers two parking monitoring modes for 24/7 vehicle protection (requires hardwire kit):

• G-Trigger Recording: The dash cam automatically records when a collision or significant impact is detected while parked.
