1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the SENCOR SWS 4250 Weather Station. This device provides accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, along with a weather forecast based on atmospheric pressure changes. It also features a radio-controlled clock, date, and day of the week display. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize the lifespan of your device.

4. Configuració

4.1 Alimentació dels dispositius

1. Sensor exterior: Open the battery compartment on the SWS TH4250 sensor. Insert 2 x 1.5 V AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
2. Unitat principal: Insert 3 x 1.5 V AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit, observing the correct polarity. Alternatively, connect the provided DC 4.5 V / 150 mA power adapter to the main unit and a power outlet. Using the power adapter will ensure continuous backlight for the color LCD display.

4.2 Sincronització inicial

After powering both units, the main unit will automatically attempt to connect with the outdoor sensor. Ensure the sensor is within range (up to 30 meters outdoors). The outdoor temperature and humidity should appear on the main unit's display. If not, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

4.3 DCF77 Radio-Controlled Time

The main unit will automatically attempt to receive the DCF77 radio signal for accurate time and date synchronization. This process may take several minutes or hours depending on your location and environmental conditions. Ensure the unit is placed away from sources of interference. The time can also be set manually if the DCF77 signal is not available or desired.

4.4 Col·locació

• Unitat principal: Place the main unit indoors on a flat surface (for standing) or mount it on a wall. Choose a location where the display is easily visible and away from direct sunlight or heat sources that could affect indoor temperature readings.
• Sensor exterior: Mount the outdoor sensor in a sheltered location to protect it from direct rain and sunlight, which can affect accuracy. Ensure it is within the 30-meter transmission range of the main unit and that there are no major obstructions.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Mostra finalview

The color LCD display shows the following information:

• Weather Forecast Symbols: Sunny, slightly cloudy, cloudy, rain.
• Temps digital: 12/24 hour format selectable.
• Date and Day of the Week.
• Indoor Temperature and Humidity.
• Outdoor Temperature and Humidity.
• Memòria mín./màx.: Records the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity values.

5.2 Configuració de l'hora i la data

If the DCF77 signal is not received or you wish to set the time manually:

1. Press and hold the 'SET' button (location typically on the back or side of the unit) to enter time setting mode.
2. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
3. Press 'SET' again to confirm the setting and move to the next parameter.
4. Repeat until all settings are complete. The unit will exit setting mode automatically after a period of inactivity or by pressing 'SET' one last time.

Press the '°C/°F' button (usually on the back or side) to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display.

5.4 Min/Max Memory

Premeu el botó 'MEM' per a view the recorded minimum and maximum indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity values. Press 'MEM' again to cycle through min, max, and current readings. To clear the memory, press and hold the 'MEM' button while viewing the min/max values.

5.5 Funció de repetició

If the unit has an alarm function, the 'SNOOZE' button (often combined with the backlight button) will temporarily silence the alarm for a set period.

5.6 Multi-Sensor Support

The SWS 4250 main unit supports up to 3 wireless outdoor sensors. If you have additional SWS TH4250 sensors (sold separately), you can add them by following the pairing instructions in their respective manuals. The main unit will cycle through the connected sensor channels or allow manual selection.

6. Manteniment

7. Solució De Problemes

• No hi ha cap pantalla a la unitat principal:
  - Check if the power adapter is securely connected or if the AAA batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted.
• No Outdoor Temperature/Humidity Reading:
  - Ensure the outdoor sensor has fresh AA batteries and is within the 30-meter transmission range of the main unit.
  - Check for obstructions between the main unit and the sensor.
  - Try re-synchronizing the sensor by removing and reinserting its batteries, then pressing the 'CHANNEL' or 'SYNC' button on the main unit (if available).
• Hora/data incorrecta:
  - Verify that the DCF77 signal reception icon is displayed. If not, try relocating the main unit to an area with better reception.
  - Manually set the time and date as described in section 5.2.
• Lectures inexactes:
  - Ensure both units are placed away from direct heat sources, cold drafts, or direct sunlight.
  - Allow some time for the readings to stabilize after initial setup or relocation.
