4. Configuració

Follow these steps to set up your Sodola PoE Switch:

4.1 Instal·lació física

• Muntatge en bastidor: The switch supports 1U rack mounting. Use appropriate rack-mount brackets (not included unless specified) to secure the device in a standard 19-inch server rack.

4.2 Connexió d'alimentació

1. Connect the provided power cord to the AC INPUT port on the rear panel of the switch.
2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard AC power outlet (100-240V).
3. The PWR indicator on the front panel should illuminate, indicating the switch is receiving power.

4.3 Connexions de xarxa

Connect your network devices to the switch using Ethernet cables. For optimal 2.5GbE speeds, use Cat6 or higher pure copper cables. Ensure all connected devices (routers, NICs, etc.) also support 2.5GbE; otherwise, network speed will default to the slowest connected device.

• Dispositius PoE: Connect PoE-compatible devices (e.g., IP cameras, wireless access points) to ports 1-24. These ports will automatically detect and provide power to compliant devices.

The Sodola PoE Switch is largely plug-and-play for basic network connectivity. Once powered on and devices are connected, it will begin forwarding data.

5.1 Indicadors LED

Monitor the LED indicators on the front panel for device status:

• PWR: Solid green when the switch is powered on.
• SYS: Indicates system status. Refer to the full user manual for specific blink patterns.
• LINK/ACT (per port): Solid green when a link is established, flashing green when data is being transmitted/received.
• PoE (per port): Solid green when PoE power is being supplied to a connected device.
• PoE MAX: Indicates total PoE power usage. OFF: <90%, FLASHING: 90%-95%, ON: 95%-100%.

5.2 Restablir la configuració de fàbrica

To restore the switch to its factory default settings, press and hold the RESET button on the front panel for approximately 6 seconds. The switch will reboot with default configurations.

The switch features an easy-to-use web-based management interface for advanced configuration and monitoring.

1. Ensure your computer is connected to the switch via an Ethernet cable.
2. Configure your computer's IP address to be in the same subnet as the switch's default IP address (e.g., if the switch is 192.168.2.1, set your computer to 192.168.2.x, where x is not 1).
3. Obre a web browser and enter the default IP address of the switch: 192.168.2.1

6.2 Configuration Features

El web interface allows you to configure various network settings, including:

• Sense energia: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the switch and a working power outlet. Check the PWR LED.
