1.1 Instruccions de seguretat

3. Configuració
3.1 Desembalatge i inspecció
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
3.2 Muntatge
- Muntatge del torn: Securely fasten the lathe to a sturdy workbench using appropriate bolts and washers. Ensure the workbench can support the weight and vibrations of the lathe during operation.
- Attaching the Tool Rest: Insert the tool rest into its base and tighten the locking mechanism. Adjust the height and position as needed for your workpiece.
- Installing the Faceplate (if required): Screw the 80mm faceplate onto the headstock spindle. Ensure it is tightened securely.

4. Instruccions de funcionament
4.1 Preparació de la peça
Select a suitable piece of wood. Ensure it is free of knots, cracks, or foreign objects. Mark the center points on both ends of the workpiece.
4.2 Muntatge de la peça
- For spindle turning: Mount the workpiece between the headstock drive center and the tailstock live center. Adjust the tailstock to apply firm pressure, then lock it in place.
- For faceplate turning: Securely attach the workpiece to the 80mm faceplate using screws. Ensure the screws are long enough to hold the workpiece firmly but do not protrude through the other side.

4.3 Ajust de velocitat
The lathe features variable speed control. The optimal speed depends on the workpiece diameter, wood type, and turning operation. Always start at a lower speed and gradually increase as needed.

The motor offers three main speed ranges, adjustable via belt changes, and fine-tuned with a potentiometer:
- Low Speed: 650-1430 RPM
- Medium Speed: 1240-2790 RPM
- High Speed: 1600-3800 RPM

4.4 Turning Techniques
Position the tool rest as close as possible to the workpiece without touching it. Use sharp turning tools. Apply light, consistent pressure, moving the tool smoothly along the workpiece. Always turn from larger to smaller diameters.

5. Manteniment
5.1 Neteja
After each use, clean the lathe thoroughly. Remove all wood dust and shavings from the bed, headstock, tailstock, and motor area. Use a brush or compressed air. Do not use water or solvents directly on electrical components.
5.2 Lubricació
Periodically lubricate moving parts such as the tailstock quill and lead screws with light machine oil to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
5.3 Belt Inspection
Regularly inspect the drive belts for wear, cracks, or damage. Replace worn belts promptly to maintain optimal performance.
