5. Configuració
Follow these steps to set up your Spider Farmer Self-Watering System:
- Prepara la zona: Choose a level surface within your grow tent or desired location. Ensure the area is clean and free from debris.
- Assemble the Reservoir:
- Install the five upright columns into the base of the folding bucket reservoir.
- Screw the shut-off valve into the hole at the lower end of the folding bucket from the outside. Ensure the filter cap is screwed on inside the bucket.
- Screw the overflow spout into the hole at the top of the folding bucket.
- Prepare Pot Bases:
- Take out Interlocking Support Brackets A and B. Cross-assemble them and install them onto the Self-Watering Fabric Pot Cap.
- Choose an appropriate hole on the pot base cover based on your grow bag size (1-2, 3, or 5-7 gallons).
- Thread two water-absorbing cotton ropes through the selected water holes on the Self-Watering Fabric Pot Cap cover.
- Connectar components:
- Lay out the Self-Watering Fabric Pot Bases, Shut-Off Valve Box, and all silicone tubes flat on the ground.
- Insert the T-shaped through-hole silicone plug (from the outside) into the water inlet hole at each Self-Watering Fabric Pot Base.
- Connect the Shut-off Valve Box to the Folding Bucket and the Self-Watering Fabric Pot Bases using the silicone tubes. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- For the last Self-Watering Fabric Pot Base in the line, attach a locking plug to the end of the tube to seal the system.
- Position Plants: Place your 5-gallon grow bags (or other compatible sizes) onto the prepared pot bases.
- Initial Soil Moistening: For optimal wicking, ensure the soil in your grow bags is already moist. Very dry soil may not wick effectively initially.

- Nutrient Delivery: If using liquid nutrients, add them directly to the reservoir. The system will deliver them with the water.
