Important Pre-Purchase Notice

This HTV245FRF WiFi water timer cannot be used independently. It must be paired with a RAINPOINT HWG023 or HWG040 WiFi gateway. Ensure you possess one of these gateways before purchasing this timer.

Configuració

1. Instal·lació física

1. Assegureu-vos que l'aixeta exterior estigui tancada.
2. Apply the provided PTFE tape to the threads of your outdoor faucet for a secure, leak-proof connection.
3. Screw the RAINPOINT water timer onto the faucet. Ensure it is hand-tightened firmly to prevent leaks.
4. Connect your garden hoses to the 'L' (Left) and 'R' (Right) outlets of the water timer.
5. Turn on your outdoor faucet.

2. Instal·lació i emparellament de l'aplicació

1. Descarrega't el RAINPOINT HOME APP des de la botiga d'aplicacions del teu dispositiu.
2. Obre l'aplicació i crea un compte o inicia la sessió.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your RAINPOINT HWG023 or HWG040 WiFi gateway. Ensure the gateway is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
4. Once the gateway is online, add the HTV245FRF water timer as a sub-device within the app. The app will guide you through the pairing process, which typically involves pressing a button on the timer.
5. Verify successful pairing by checking the device status in the app.

Operating the Water Timer

The RAINPOINT HOME APP provides comprehensive control over your watering schedule and system. You can manage your watering anytime, anywhere.

• Programació: Create custom watering plans for each zone. The app supports various frequency options including daily, weekly, odd days, even days, and intervals from every 2 to 30 days.
• Watering Modes: Choose from Normal Irrigation (continuous one-time), Interval Irrigation (intermittent spraying for cooling or water-saving), and Cycle & Soak (splitting total watering time into short cycles with breaks to allow water absorption).
• Weather-Based Smart Watering: The system can automatically delay watering based on real-time weather conditions (e.g., rain, snow, cloudy) to prevent overwatering and conserve water.
• Monitorització de l'ús d'aigua: Each zone has a built-in high-precision flow sensor that tracks water consumption. You can view last water usage and set watering amounts directly in your plans.
• Sistema ampliable: One WiFi gateway can pair with up to 4 WiFi water timers. Multiple sub-devices, such as soil sensors (HCS026FRF), can be connected to form a more intelligent watering system.

The water timer also supports manual operation directly on the unit, which will not alter your programmed watering schedule.

• On-Unit Control: Press the buttons on the timer to manually turn water on/off for a default duration (e.g., 10 minutes).
• App Manual Mode: Use the app's manual mode for immediate watering with customizable duration.

Waterproofing and Durability

If using a compatible soil moisture sensor (e.g., HCS026FRF), monitor its battery level via the RAINPOINT HOME APP. Replace batteries as indicated to ensure continuous data transmission for smart watering.

Resolució de problemes

• Timer Not Connecting to App: Ensure your WiFi gateway (HWG023 or HWG040) is powered on and connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Verify the water timer is within range of the gateway. Re-pair the device if necessary following app instructions.
• No Water Flow or Low Pressure: Check the inlet filter for clogs and clean it. Ensure the outdoor faucet is fully open. Verify that the hoses connected to the timer are not kinked or blocked.
