Configuració
1. Càrrega inicial
Before first use, fully charge the Nitecore EDC31. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight's charging port and to a USB power source. The power indicator lights will show charging status.

2. Attaching the Lanyard and Clip
Attach the lanyard to the designated loop on the flashlight for secure carrying. The clip can be used to secure the flashlight to pockets, belts, or gear.

Rapid Lock™ Mechanism
The EDC31 features a sliding lock switch to prevent accidental activation.

- Full Lockout Mode: Slide the Rapid Lock™ to the locked position to completely prevent activation.

Brightness Levels and Modes
The EDC31 offers multiple brightness levels and specialized modes:
- LUMIN SHIELD™ (Floodlight): 3,500 Lumens. Activated by a full press and hold of the Tactical Tail Button. (Unavailable in Full Lockout Mode).
- SEARCH (Spotlight): 1,500 Lumens, 380m range. Activated by a half press and hold of the Tactical Tail Button. (Unavailable in Full Lockout Mode).
- Alt: 1,100 lúmens.
- Mitjà: 300 lúmens.
- Baix: 70 lúmens.
- Ultralow: 5 lúmens.

The flashlight features four green indicator lights to display the remaining battery power:

- 3 Constant-on: 50% - 75%
- 2 Constant-on: 25% - 50%

Manteniment
Neteja

To maintain optimal battery life, charge the flashlight regularly. Avoid fully depleting the battery for extended periods. If storing the flashlight for a long time, charge it to approximately 50% every few months.

The EDC31 has an IP68 rating, meaning it is waterproof and submersible up to 2 meters. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed before exposing the flashlight to water.

- This is normal for high-lumen flashlights due to heat dissipation. The EDC31 has built-in thermal regulation to prevent overheating, which may cause a temporary step-down in brightness.
- Avoid prolonged use on the highest settings if heat is a concern.
