The GMKtec G9 Mini PC NAS is a versatile and compact computing solution designed for both general desktop use and network-attached storage (NAS) applications. Featuring the Intel N150 CPU, this system offers a hybrid approach, combining traditional PC functionalities with robust storage expansion capabilities through its four M.2 2280 PCIe slots. 3. Configuració i instal·lació
3.1 Connexió de perifèrics
The G9 Mini PC offers a variety of ports for connecting external devices. Refer to the diagram below for port identification:

- Potència: Connect the power supply to the DC input port.
- Visualització: Connect your monitor(s) using the two HDMI 2.0 ports (supporting 4K@60Hz) or the full-function Type-C port (DP/DATA/PD). The G9 supports triple display output.
- Dispositius USB: Connect keyboards, mice, and other USB devices to the USB 3.2 (10Gbps) ports.
- Xarxa: For wired network connectivity, use the dual 2.5GbE RJ45 Ethernet ports. For wireless, the device supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

3.2 Desktop Placement and VESA Installation
The G9 Mini PC can be placed horizontally on a desktop or mounted to the back of a compatible monitor using the included VESA mount.

To perform VESA installation, attach the VESA bracket to the back of your monitor using the provided screws, then slide the Mini PC onto the bracket until it clicks securely into place.
4. Operating System and Initial Boot
The G9 Mini PC comes with a dual-boot system, featuring Windows 11 Pro as the default operating system and Ubuntu 24.10 (or higher) installed on a separate partition. Windows 11 Pro is installed on the SSD, while Ubuntu is stored on the 64GB eMMC storage.

Upon first boot, the system will guide you through the initial setup process for Windows 11 Pro. To switch between operating systems, access the boot menu during startup (usually by pressing F7 or Del, refer to your specific BIOS/UEFI instructions).

5.1 NAS Storage Capabilities
The G9 Mini PC is uniquely designed with four M.2 2280 PCIe slots, allowing it to function as a powerful Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. This enables users to create a centralized storage solution for backing up files, sharing photos, and streaming videos across a home network. With appropriate NAS software (not provided by GMKtec), you can host servers and manage data for multiple users.

5.3 High-Speed Connectivity
The G9 features dual Intel i226v 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, offering speeds up to 2.5 times faster than standard 1.0GbE Gigabit Ethernet. It also includes WiFi 6 (802.11ax) for wireless speeds up to 600Mbps and Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting various wireless peripherals.

The G9 Mini PC supports up to 16TB of total storage expansion across its four M.2 2280 PCIe slots (4TB per slot). The disassembled design allows for easy and convenient upgrade of RAM and SSDs.

6.2 Sistema de refrigeració
The G9 is equipped with a triple cooling fan system: two fans for the SSD/DDR compartments and a large fan for the CPU. This design ensures efficient heat dissipation, maintaining optimal performance while producing minimal fan noise (33-36dB).
