4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació i càrrega de la bateria

1. Alineeu el paquet de bateries amb les ranures de la part posterior de la ràdio.
2. Feu lliscar el paquet de bateries cap amunt fins que encaixi al seu lloc.
3. To charge, place the radio (with battery installed) into the desktop charger. Ensure the charging indicator light illuminates.
4. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours. The indicator light will change color when charging is complete.

4.2 Fixació de l'antena

1. Enrosqueu l'antena en sentit horari al connector de la part superior de la ràdio fins que quedi ben ajustada amb els dits. No l'estrengueu massa.

4.3 Speaker Microphone Connection

1. Insert the 2-pin connector of the speaker microphone into the accessory jack on the side of the radio.
2. Assegureu-vos una connexió segura.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Engegada/Apagada i control de volum

• To power on, rotate the Control de potència/volum en sentit horari fins que sentiu un clic.
• Continueu girant per ajustar el volum.
• Per apagar-lo, gireu el botó en sentit antihorari fins que faci clic.

5.2 Selecció de canals

• Utilitza el Fletxa amunt / avall keys on the keypad to navigate through programmed channels.
• Alternativament, introduïu el número de canal directament amb el teclat numèric.

5.3 Fer una trucada

• Select the desired channel or contact.
• Manteniu premut el botó Prem per parlar (PTT) button on the side of the radio or on the speaker microphone.
• Parleu clarament al micròfon.
• Deixeu anar el botó PTT per escoltar una resposta.

5.4 Digital vs. Analog Mode

The RT-4D supports both digital (DMR) and analog communication. The radio will automatically detect the signal type on a given channel if configured correctly. Ensure your radio is set to the appropriate mode for the network you are trying to access.

7. Manteniment

• Neteja: Utilitzeu un suau, damp drap per netejar la superfície de la ràdio. No utilitzeu productes químics agressius ni netejadors abrasius.
• Cura de la bateria: To prolong battery life, avoid overcharging and fully discharging the battery regularly. Store the radio and battery in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
• Emmagatzematge: Guardeu la ràdio en un lloc sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
• Antena: Do not bend or twist the antenna excessively, as this can damage the connector.
