5. Configuració

5.1 Configuració inicial

1. Carregueu el monitor: Connect the monitor unit to a power outlet using the provided USB cable and power adapter. Fully charge the monitor before first use.
2. Encendre les càmeres: Connect each camera unit to a power outlet using their respective USB cables and power adapters. The cameras will power on automatically.
3. Power On Monitor: Press and hold the power button on the monitor unit until the screen illuminates.

Position the camera(s) in a location that provides a clear view of your baby. Ensure the camera is placed at a safe distance from the crib to prevent accidental contact or entanglement with cables.

• For optimal AI detection (Face Covering & Prone Sleeping), the recommended camera position is at the baby's waist level, approximately 0.5-1.2 meters (1.6-4 feet) from the crib.
• The camera can be placed on a flat surface, mounted on a wall, or attached to the crib using the provided mounting kits.

The ieGeek baby monitor supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections for smartphone app control. Follow the steps below to connect your camera(s) to the app.

Connexió Bluetooth (recomanat)

1. Connecteu la càmera a una font d'alimentació.
2. Long press the 'Reset' button on the camera until you hear a 'BOOGU' beep.
3. After 20-30 seconds, the camera will automatically rotate once. Connection starts after another beep and the red light flashes.
4. On your smartphone, ensure Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz or 5GHz), and GPS location are enabled.
5. Open the ieGeek app, click the '+' icon, and select the 'baby 5' device from the automatically popped-up list.
6. Enter your Wi-Fi password and click 'Next'.
7. Wait for the Wi-Fi connection to complete. Device addition is successful.
8. To connect a second camera, repeat steps 1-7.

1. Open the ieGeek app, click the '+' icon, and select 'Baby Monitor (2.4G or 5G Wi-Fi)'.
2. Connect the camera to a power source and click 'Next' in the app.
3. Long press the 'Reset' button on the camera until you hear a 'BOOGU' beep. After 20-30 seconds, the camera will automatically rotate once. Connection starts after another beep and the red light flashes. Click 'Next' in the app.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi password and click 'Next'.
5. Scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens (distance 5-8 inches). A tone will be heard when successfully scanned. Click 'Next'.
6. Wait for the Wi-Fi connection to complete. Device addition is successful.
7. To connect a second camera, repeat steps 1-6.
