Configuració i instal·lació
Installation of the BLACK+DECKER 5-Function Handheld Shower Head is designed to be tool-free and straightforward. Follow these steps:
- Prepareu el braç de dutxa: Turn off the main water supply to your shower. Remove your existing shower head by unscrewing it counter-clockwise from the shower arm. Clean any old plumber's tape or debris from the shower arm threads.
- Aplicar cinta de lampista: Wrap plumber's tape clockwise around the threads of the shower arm 3-4 times.
- Install the Fixed Shower Head with Diverter: Screw the fixed shower head assembly onto the shower arm threads clockwise. Hand-tighten firmly, then use a wrench for an additional quarter turn if necessary, ensuring not to overtighten.
- Connecteu la mànega: Attach one end of the 60-inch stainless steel hose to the outlet on the diverter (usually located on the side or bottom of the fixed shower head). Ensure a washer is inside the hose connection. Hand-tighten firmly.
- Attach Handheld Shower Head: Connect the other end of the hose to the handheld shower head. Ensure a washer is inside this connection. Hand-tighten firmly.
- Mount the Handheld Unit: Place the handheld shower head into its designated shower mount.

Switching Between Shower Heads
The diverter allows you to easily switch water flow between the fixed shower head and the detachable handheld shower head, or use both simultaneously.

- Fixed Shower Head Only: Rotate the diverter valve to direct water flow solely to the fixed shower head.

- Both Shower Heads: Position the diverter valve to allow water flow to both the fixed and handheld shower heads simultaneously.
Selecting Spray Modes
Both the fixed and handheld shower heads feature 5 distinct spray modes. To change the spray mode, rotate the dial on the face of the shower head.

Available spray modes include:
- Spray: A standard, invigorating spray.

Cleaning Anti-Clog Nozzles
The shower head is equipped with anti-clog nozzles designed to prevent mineral buildup and maintain consistent water flow. To clean these nozzles:

- Periodically rub the rubber nozzles with your finger or a soft brush to dislodge any mineral deposits.
- For stubborn buildup, a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water can be applied to the nozzles. Allow it to sit for 15-30 minutes before scrubbing and rinsing.

- Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild soap and water.
