Introducció
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your GMKtec K8 Plus Gaming Mini PC and the accompanying AD-GP1 Oculink eGPU Dock. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your devices.

Configuració
1. Initial Mini PC Setup
The GMKtec K8 Plus Mini PC comes pre-installed with Windows. Connect your monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the Mini PC. Power on the device using the power button located on the front panel. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial Windows setup.

2. AD-GP1 eGPU Dock Connection
The AD-GP1 eGPU Dock significantly enhances the graphical capabilities of your Mini PC. Connect the eGPU dock to the Mini PC using the Oculink port for optimal performance. Alternatively, you can use a USB4 cable if your Mini PC supports it, though Oculink provides a more direct connection to the system bus for higher bandwidth.

3. Encès
Ensure both the Mini PC and the eGPU dock are connected to their respective power adapters. Press the power button on the Mini PC. The eGPU dock will power on automatically when connected and detected.

1. Enhanced Performance with eGPU
The AD-GP1 eGPU Dock, equipped with an AMD Radeon 7600M XT Graphics Card, is designed to boost your system's graphics performance for demanding tasks such as gaming, video editing, and AI applications. For best results, connect your display directly to the eGPU dock's output ports.

2. Display Connections
The eGPU dock provides multiple display outputs for a versatile setup:
- Ports HDMI 2.1 (x2): Supports up to 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz.
- Ports DisplayPort 2.0 (x2): Supports up to 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz.
You can connect up to four displays simultaneously for a multi-monitor setup.

3. Connectivitat de xarxa
The Mini PC features dual Intel i226V 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports for fast and stable wired network connections. It also supports WiFi 6 for strong, low-latency wireless connectivity across multiple frequency bands, and Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting peripherals.

Manteniment
1. RAM and SSD Upgrade
The GMKtec K8 Plus Mini PC is designed for easy upgrades. You can expand the memory up to 96GB DDR5 and storage up to 8TB via dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD slots. Refer to the diagram below for component locations.

2. Sistema de refrigeració
The Mini PC and eGPU dock feature dual cooling fans and an efficient heat dissipation design to maintain optimal operating temperatures. The power consumption of the Mini PC can be adjusted to different modes (Quiet, Normal, Performance) affecting CPU temperature and noise levels.

Resolució de problemes
- eGPU Not Detected: Ensure the Oculink or USB4 cable is securely connected to both the Mini PC and the eGPU dock. Verify that the eGPU dock is receiving power. Check your operating system's device manager to see if the graphics card is recognized.
- Sense sortida de pantalla: Confirm that your monitor is connected to the correct HDMI or DisplayPort on the eGPU dock. Try different cables or ports. Ensure the Mini PC's internal display is disabled when using the eGPU for optimal performance.
- Problemes de rendiment: Ensure all drivers for the AMD Radeon 7600M XT are up to date. Check the power mode settings of your Mini PC (refer to Maintenance section). For CPU-intensive games, the eGPU may not provide a significant performance boost if the CPU is the bottleneck.
- Compatibility with Apple Silicon Macs: The AD-GP1 eGPU Dock is not compatible with Apple Silicon Macs (e.g., M1, M2, M3 series). It is designed to work with Windows PCs that have USB4 or Oculink ports. Older Intel-based Macs with Thunderbolt ports might be compatible, but verify specific model support.
