4. Compatibilitat

The Zalman CNPS9X Performa Plus ARGB CPU Cooler supports a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets:

Ensure your motherboard and PC case have sufficient clearance for the cooler's dimensions (3 x 4.8 x 6.18 inches / 76.2 x 121.9 x 157 mm) before installation.

5. Instal·lació

5.1. Precaucions generals

• Turn off your computer and disconnect the power cord before installation.
• Discharge any static electricity from your body by touching a grounded metal object.

5.2. Intel LGA 1851/1700/1200/1151 Installation

1. Prepare the Backplate: Align the universal backplate with the holes on the back of your motherboard, corresponding to your Intel socket type.
2. Instal·leu separadors: Insert the correct stand-offs through the motherboard holes from the front side, securing them into the backplate.
3. Aplicar pasta tèrmica: Clean the CPU surface. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of thermal paste to the center of the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).

5. Assegureu la nevera: Attach the Intel mounting brackets to the cooler's base. Use the provided screws to secure the cooler to the stand-offs, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.
6. Connecteu els cables del ventilador: Connect the 4-pin PWM fan cable to the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard. Connect the 3-pin ARGB cable to a compatible 5V ARGB header on your motherboard.

5.3. Instal·lació d'AMD AM5/AM4

1. Treure els suports de material: Remove the plastic retention clips from the stock AMD backplate on your motherboard. Keep the stock backplate in place.
2. Install AMD Stand-offs: Screw the AMD-specific stand-offs into the holes on the stock AMD backplate.
3. Aplicar pasta tèrmica: Clean the CPU surface. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of thermal paste to the center of the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).

6. Funcionament

Once installed, the Zalman CNPS9X Performa Plus ARGB CPU Cooler operates automatically. The 4-pin PWM fan will adjust its speed based on CPU temperature, as controlled by your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings or operating system software.

The integrated ARGB fan lighting can be controlled via your motherboard's ARGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync) if connected to a compatible 5V ARGB header. 7. Manteniment
