1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Makeid L1-C Label Printer Machine. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to maximize its lifespan. The Makeid L1-C is a portable, rechargeable label maker designed for creating custom labels quickly and efficiently.

4. Configuració

4.1 Càrrega del dispositiu

Before first use, fully charge the Makeid L1-C printer. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the printer's charging port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status.

4.2 Instal·lació de la cinta adhesiva

1. Open the label compartment cover on the printer.
2. Insert a Makeid label tape roll into the compartment, ensuring the label end feeds out through the printer's slot.
3. Close the compartment cover. The printer's FRID chip will automatically detect the label type and size.

4.3 Descàrrega de l'aplicació i connexió Bluetooth

1. Descarrega't el MakeID Life app from your smartphone's app store. You can find it on the App Store or Google Play.
2. Assegureu-vos que el Bluetooth estigui habilitat al vostre telèfon intel·ligent.
3. Turn on the Makeid L1-C printer by pressing the power button. The indicator light will illuminate.
4. Open the MakeID Life app. The app will automatically search for and connect to your printer. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

5.1 Creating Labels with the MakeID Life App

The MakeID Life app provides a versatile platform for designing your labels:

• Text: Enter your desired text. The app offers over 88 fonts for customization.
• Icones i marcs: Choose from over 600 icons and 26 frames to enhance your labels.
• Plantilles: Utilize pre-designed templates for various applications.
• Codis QR i codis de barres: Generate and print QR codes or barcodes directly from the app.

5.2 Impressió d'etiquetes

Once your label design is complete in the app, tap the print icon. The printer will process and print the label at a speed of approximately 30.5mm/s.

5.3 Cutting Labels

After printing, use the built-in cutter to cleanly separate the printed label from the tape roll. Press the cutter button or lever (location may vary slightly by model revision) to activate the cutting mechanism.

5.4 Label Compatibility and Applications

The Makeid L1-C is compatible with various label types, including continuous and die-cut labels, in widths such as 9mm, 12mm, and 16mm. These labels are waterproof and fade-resistant, suitable for diverse applications.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja del capçal d'impressió

Per garantir una qualitat d'impressió òptima, netegeu periòdicament el capçal d'impressió. Utilitzeu un drap suau i sense borrissol, netegeu-lo suaument.ampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head surface. Ensure the printer is turned off and disconnected from power before cleaning.

6.2 Emmagatzematge

Store the printer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove any label tape if storing for an extended period.

7. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter issues with your Makeid L1-C printer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• La impressora no s'encén: Assegureu-vos que el dispositiu estigui completament carregat. Connecteu-lo a una font d'alimentació i comproveu l'indicador de càrrega.
• No es pot connectar mitjançant Bluetooth: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the printer is powered on. Restart both the printer and the app. Ensure the app has Bluetooth permissions.
• Mala qualitat d'impressió: Clean the print head as described in Section 6.1. Ensure the label tape is correctly installed and is a genuine Makeid product.
• Label tape not recognized: Re-insert the label tape, ensuring it is seated correctly. The FRID chip should automatically detect it. If the issue persists, try a different label tape roll.
• Labels not cutting cleanly: Check for any obstructions in the cutter mechanism. Ensure the label tape is properly aligned.
