2. Configuració i instal·lació

Follow these steps to properly set up and install your PulseTech SolarPulse SP-3 charger/maintainer.

2.1. Contingut del paquet:

2.2. Passos d'instal·lació:

  1. Choose a Mounting Location for the Solar Panel: Select an outdoor location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. The panel should be positioned to avoid shade from trees, buildings, or other obstructions. Ensure the location is secure and the panel will not be easily dislodged.

    • Ensure all connections are tight and secure. The system is reverse polarity protected for safety.
  5. Connect Solar Panel to Circuit Box: Connect the wire from the solar panel to the input on the circuit box. The quick disconnect feature allows for easy connection and disconnection.

3. Funcionament

Once installed, the PulseTech SolarPulse SP-3 operates automatically to charge and maintain your 12-volt lead-acid battery.

3.1. Automatic Charging and Maintaining:

The solar panel converts sunlight into electrical energy, which is then regulated by the circuit box and delivered to the battery. The patented Pulse Technology actively works to desulfate the battery plates, ensuring optimal performance and extending battery life. This process occurs continuously whenever the solar panel receives sufficient sunlight.

The circuit box features an LED indicator to provide status information:

  • Red Light (Bright): Indicates full sunlight and optimal charging/maintaining activity.
  • Red Light (Fades/Dim): Indicates partial sunlight, meaning the unit is still operating but with reduced intensity.

The LED will illuminate red when the SolarPulse is connected correctly and receiving power from the solar panel, confirming it is actively working to maintain your battery.

4. Manteniment

The PulseTech SolarPulse SP-3 is designed to be virtually maintenance-free due to its durable and weatherproof construction. However, periodic checks can ensure optimal performance.

4.1. Cleaning the Solar Panel:

To ensure maximum solar energy conversion, periodically clean the surface of the solar panel. Dust, dirt, leaves, or snow can reduce its efficiency. Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the panel surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh scrubbing that could scratch the panel.

5. Solució De Problemes

If your PulseTech SolarPulse SP-3 is not performing as expected, consider the following common issues:

5.1. No LED Indication:

  • Check Sunlight Exposure: Ensure the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight. Move it to a sunnier location if necessary.
