The YuanLey 10 Port 2.5G PoE Unmanaged Switch is designed to provide high-speed network connectivity with Power over Ethernet capabilities. It features 8x 2.5G Base-T PoE ports and 2x 10G SFP+ ports for flexible network expansion.

• Ports PoE (1-8): 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports supporting IEEE 802.3af/at PoE. Each port can deliver up to 30W, with a total PoE budget of 120W. These ports are compatible with 10/100/1000Mbps and 2.5Gbps devices.
• 10G SFP+ Ports (9-10): Two 10 Gigabit SFP+ slots for fiber optic connections, compatible with 1G/2.5G/10G SFP modules (modules not included).

5. Configuració

The YuanLey 10 Port 2.5G PoE Switch is a plug-and-play device, requiring no complex configuration for basic operation.

5.1 Instal·lació física

1. Col·locació: Place the switch on a stable, flat surface or mount it in a 19-inch rack using the provided rackmount kit. Ensure adequate space around the device for ventilation.
2. Connexió d'alimentació: Connect the provided power cord to the AC power input on the rear panel of the switch and then to a suitable power outlet. The PWR LED will illuminate green.

5.2 Connexió de xarxa

1. Connecting Non-PoE Devices: Connect your non-PoE network devices (e.g., computers, NAS, routers) to any of the 2.5G Base-T ports (1-8) using standard Ethernet cables.
2. Connecting PoE Devices: Connect your PoE-compatible devices (e.g., IP cameras, wireless access points, IP phones) to any of the 2.5G Base-T PoE ports (1-8). The switch will automatically detect and provide power to these devices.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

The switch operates automatically once connected. No software configuration is typically required for an unmanaged switch.

6.1 Mode estàndard

In Standard Mode, all ports communicate freely with each other. This is the default mode for general network use.

6.2 VLAN Mode (One-Key VLAN)

To enhance network security and reduce broadcast storms, you can enable VLAN Mode using the S&V Dip Switch. In VLAN Mode, ports 1-8 are isolated from each other but can communicate with the SFP+ uplink ports (9-10). This prevents direct communication between connected devices on ports 1-8, routing all traffic through the uplink ports.

7. Manteniment

• Neteja: Feu servir un drap suau i sec per netejar l'exterior de l'interruptor. No utilitzeu netejadors líquids ni en aerosol.
• Ventilació: Regularly check that the cooling vents are not obstructed to ensure proper heat dissipation.
• Firmware: As an unmanaged switch, firmware updates are generally not required or available.

Si teniu problemes amb el commutador, consulteu els problemes i solucions habituals següents:

• Sense energia:

  • Comproveu si la presa de corrent funciona connectant-hi un altre dispositiu.

  • Verify that the Ethernet cable is properly connected at both ends.

  • Check the LED indicator for the port; if it's off, there might be no link.
