1. Introducció

The Waykar 2000 Sq. Ft Dehumidifier is designed to efficiently remove excess moisture from your home, basement, or other living spaces. Maintaining optimal humidity levels helps prevent mold growth, eliminate musty odors, and create a more comfortable and healthier indoor environment. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your dehumidifier to ensure its long-lasting performance.

3. Configuració

3.1 Desembalatge i col·locació

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. The unit is equipped with wheels for easy relocation. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper air circulation.

3.2 Water Tank Installation/Removal

The dehumidifier comes with a front-loaded water tank for manual drainage. To remove the tank, gently pull it out from the front of the unit. To reinsert, align the tank with the slot and push it firmly until it clicks into place.

3.3 Configuració del drenatge continu

For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, you can utilize the continuous drainage feature. Locate the drain plug at the back of the unit. Remove the plug and connect the provided drain hose (or a standard garden hose) to the outlet.

Ensure the hose runs smoothly downwards to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink) to allow for gravity drainage. Avoid kinks or blockages in the hose to prevent water leakage and ensure proper operation. The hose should remain at least 3.9 inches lower than the drain port level.

4.1 Tauler de control acabatview

The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features a digital display and touch-sensitive buttons for various functions.

• Botó d'encendre (U): Encén o apaga la unitat.
• Botó de velocitat del ventilador (F): Toggles between Low and High fan speeds.
• Botó de mode (M): Cycles through Dehumidify (DEHU), Dry (DRY), and Continuous (CONT) modes.
• Humidity Setting Buttons (^ / v): Adjusts the target humidity level in Dehumidify mode (30%-80% RH).
• Botó del temporitzador (T): Configura el temporitzador d'encesa o apagada automàtica.
• Botó de bloqueig infantil (L): Bloqueja el tauler de control per evitar canvis accidentals.

4.2 Configuració del mode

• Dehumidify Mode (DEHU): This is the primary mode for removing humidity. You can set your desired humidity level between 30% and 80% Relative Humidity (RH). The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached.
• Mode sec (DRY): Functions as a fan to help dry clothes or other items. Humidity settings are not adjustable in this mode.
• Continuous Mode (CONT): Operates continuously to maintain a 30% humidity level automatically. Humidity settings are not adjustable in this mode.

4.3 Funció de temporitzador

Press the Timer button to set the desired operating duration (auto-off) or delay start (auto-on). Use the humidity setting buttons to adjust the hours.

4.4 Bloqueig infantil

Press and hold the Child Lock button for a few seconds to activate or deactivate the lock. When activated, the control panel buttons will be unresponsive, preventing unintended changes to settings.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja del dipòsit d'aigua

Regularly clean the water tank to prevent mold and mildew buildup. Remove the tank, discard any collected water, and rinse it with clean water. For thorough cleaning, use a mild detergent and a soft brush, then rinse completely and dry before reinserting.

5.2 Neteja del filtre d'aire

The air filter is located at the back of the unit. To clean, gently pull out the filter cover. Remove the filter and rinse it under running water. Allow the filter to air dry completely before placing it back into the unit. Regular cleaning ensures efficient operation and extends the life of your dehumidifier.

6. Solució De Problemes

If your dehumidifier is not operating as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

• La unitat no s'encén: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the water tank is full or improperly seated.
• No dehumidification: Verify that the unit is in Dehumidify mode and the target humidity level is set lower than the current room humidity. Check if the air filter is clogged and needs cleaning.
• Fuga d'aigua: Ensure the continuous drainage hose is properly connected and not kinked or blocked. If using the water tank, confirm it is correctly installed.
• Soroll inusual: Check for any obstructions in the air inlet or outlet. Ensure the unit is placed on a level surface.
