The SCHUBERTH SC Edge system consists of several key components designed for seamless integration with your helmet.

4.1 Unitat principal

This hexagonal unit houses the core electronics, battery, and connectivity modules. It features a power button and an LED indicator for status updates. The unit is designed to be discreetly mounted on the side of your helmet.

4.2 Unitat de control

The separate control unit provides tactile buttons for easy operation while riding. It typically includes buttons for volume control (+/-), a central action button, and a dedicated intercom button. This unit allows for intuitive control without needing to look away from the road.

4.3 Boom Microphone

5. Configuració

5.1 Installation in Helmet

The SCHUBERTH SC Edge is compatible with SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon, E2 Carbon, C5, E2, S3, and J2 helmets. Follow these general steps for installation:

1. Prepare Helmet: Remove the helmet's interior padding as necessary to access the ear pockets and the helmet's side.
2. Mount Main Unit: Attach the main unit to the side of the helmet using the provided clamp or adhesive mount. Ensure it is secure and does not obstruct helmet features.
3. Instal·lar altaveus: Place the HD speakers into the helmet's ear pockets. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality. Route the speaker wires neatly under the padding.

5. Connectar components: Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the main unit.

Before first use, fully charge your SC Edge. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the main unit's charging port and plug it into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

5.3 Initial Pairing with Mobile Device

To pair your SC Edge with your smartphone via Bluetooth:

1. Encès: Press and hold the Power button on the main unit until the LED indicator lights up.

6. Funcionament

6.1 Encès/Apagat

• Encès: Press and hold the Power button on the main unit for approximately 2 seconds.
• Apagar: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED turns off.

6.2 Control de volum

Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control unit to adjust the volume. A short press typically adjusts volume incrementally, while a long press may adjust it more rapidly.

6.3 Reproducció de música

Once paired with your smartphone, you can control music playback:

• Reproduir/pausa: Press the central action button on the control unit.

6.5.2 Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC)

The 2nd Generation DMC allows for seamless group communication with other Cardo Mesh-enabled devices. Simply talk, and the device manages the connection. To create or join a DMC group, follow the instructions provided in the SCHUBERTH SC Edge app or the detailed manual available online.

6.6 Natural Voice Control

The SC Edge features Natural Voice Operation, allowing you to control the system using only your voice, keeping your hands on the handlebars. Simply say the wake-up phrase (e.g., "Hey Cardo") followed by a command. Examples inclouen:
