Configuració i instal·lació

Before you begin, ensure you have the following tools:

• Tornavís Phillips
• Tornavís de cap pla
• Pelafils
• Cinta elèctrica
• Ulleres de seguretat
• Escala (si cal)

Passos d'instal·lació:

1. Apagueu l'alimentació: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box that controls the power to the outdoor light fixture. Turn off the power completely before proceeding. Verify the power is off using a voltage provador.
2. Remove Old Fixture (if applicable): Carefully disconnect and remove any existing light fixture from the junction box.
3. Col·loqueu la placa de muntatge: Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the plate is level and firmly attached.
4. Fer connexions elèctriques:
   • Connecteu el negre cable des del dispositiu fins al negre cable (calent) de la caixa de connexions amb una femella.
   • Connecteu el blanc cable des del dispositiu fins al blanc cable (neutre) de la caixa de connexions amb una femella.
   • Connecteu el verd or bare copper (ground) wire from the fixture to the verd or bare copper (ground) wire from the junction box using a wire nut. If no ground wire is available in the junction box, connect to the ground screw on the mounting plate.
   • Ensure all connections are secure and cover wire nuts with electrical tape for added insulation.
5. Muntar l'aparell: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting plate. Secure the fixture to the mounting plate using the provided screws, ensuring a snug fit against the wall. If a gasket is provided, place it between the fixture and the mounting surface for a weather-tight seal.
6. Restaura l'alimentació: Once the fixture is securely installed and all connections are made, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Instruccions de funcionament

This Feit Electric lantern features a built-in Dusk-to-Dawn sensor, allowing for automatic operation.

• Funcionament automàtic: The integrated sensor will detect ambient light levels. The lantern will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.
• Accionament manual (si escau): If connected to a wall switch, the fixture can be manually turned on or off. For continuous automatic operation, ensure the wall switch remains in the "ON" position.
• Característica regulable: This fixture is dimmable. Ensure you use a compatible LED dimmer switch for optimal performance. Refer to the dimmer switch manufacturer's instructions for proper installation and operation.

Manteniment

The Feit Electric 14-inch Black Rectangular Lantern is designed for minimal maintenance.

• Neteja: To clean the fixture, ensure the power is off. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electrical components.
