1. Introducció

The Lumisilk Luminia IPL Epilator is designed to provide a safe, effective, and convenient solution for permanent hair reduction at home. Utilizing advanced Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, this device targets hair follicles to progressively reduce hair growth, resulting in smooth skin. It is suitable for use on various body areas, including the face, armpits, legs, and bikini line.

4. Configuració i preparació

1. Charge/Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the device and plug it into a power outlet. The device is ready for use when the indicator lights up.

5.1 Encès/Apagat

• Press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds to turn the device ON.
• Press and hold the power button again for 2-3 seconds to turn the device OFF.

5.2 Selecting Intensity Level

The device features 6 intensity levels. Start with a lower intensity level (e.g., Level 1) and gradually increase it based on your comfort and skin reaction.

• Press the power button briefly to cycle through intensity levels (1 to 6). The selected level will be displayed on the LCD screen.
• Higher levels provide more intense treatment and are generally more effective for coarser hair, but require careful skin tolerance assessment.

5.3 Selecting Mode (HR/SR)

The device offers two modes: Hair Removal (HR) and Skin Rejuvenation (SR).

• Press the mode button (usually indicated as HR/SR) to switch between Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation modes.
• HR Mode: For permanent hair reduction.
• SR Mode: For skin rejuvenation benefits (e.g., improving skin texture, reducing fine lines).

5.5 Treatment Procedure

1. Ensure skin is clean, dry, and shaved.

4. Place the device's flash window firmly against the skin. The device will only flash when full skin contact is detected.
5. Press the flash button to emit a pulse. For larger areas, you can use the auto-flash mode (if available) by holding down the flash button and gliding the device over the skin.
6. Move the device to the next adjacent area, ensuring no overlap or missed spots.
7. After completing the treatment, turn off the device and unplug it.

Horari de tractament: For optimal results, it is recommended to use the device 1-2 times per week for the first 4 weeks, then reduce to once every 2-4 weeks as hair growth diminishes. Visible results typically appear after 3-4 weeks, with permanent reduction achieved after 8-12 sessions.

• Neteja: After each use, wipe the flash window with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

• Lamp Vida: The device has a specified number of flashes. The LCD screen displays the remaining flashes. Replace the device when the flash count is depleted.
