3. Configuració

3.1 Items to Prepare

3.2 Installing the Thumb Turn Holder

1. Remove the thumb turn holder from the Lock Pro unit.
2. Adjust the attachment to its maximum extension using a screwdriver.
3. Place the holder over your door's thumb turn and tighten the screws to secure it. Ensure the center of rotation is aligned as much as possible.

3.3 Adjusting Lock Pro Height and Position

1. Remove the four screws from the back panel of the Lock Pro unit.
2. Place the Lock Pro unit over the installed thumb turn holder. Adjust the height of the plate to match the thumb turn's height.
3. Mark the position for attaching the Lock Pro unit with a pencil. Remember the height of the adjustment plate and the screw hole positions.
4. While keeping the attachment on the thumb turn, remove the Lock Pro main unit.
5. Tighten the screws of the height adjustment plate at the previously marked positions.

3.4 Preparing the Door Surface

1. Using a cleaning tissue, wipe off any dust or dirt from the door surface where the Lock Pro will be attached.
2. Wipe the desired attachment position with the adhesion promoter. (Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after use.)

3.5 Attaching Lock Pro

1. Peel off the protective seal from the back of the Lock Pro unit.
2. Carefully align the central axis of the attachment with the center of the thumb turn.
3. Attach the Lock Pro unit to the door surface. Hold it firmly in place for approximately 2.5 minutes to ensure strong adhesion.

1. Peel off the protective sheet from the 3M double-sided tape on the magnet.
2. Attach the magnet to the door frame, ensuring it is parallel to the Lock Pro unit and the distance between them is within 3cm.

3.7 Reinforcing Tape (Optional)

If you are concerned about the Lock Pro coming off with just double-sided tape, you can use the reinforcing tape.

1. Apply the reinforcing tape around the Lock Pro unit and onto the door surface.
2. Hold the Lock Pro unit firmly by hand for approximately 2.5 minutes.
3. Gently peel off the reinforcing tape after 48 hours. The Lock Pro can be used normally during this period.

3.8 App Pairing and Calibration

After physical installation, pair the Lock Pro with the SwitchBot app and calibrate it.

1. Pull out the insulation sheet from the Lock Pro unit.
2. Follow the app's instructions to add the device and perform calibration.

4. Operating the Lock Pro

The SwitchBot Lock Pro offers multiple convenient ways to unlock your door:

• Manage up to 100 fingerprints for various family members.
• Monitor unlock/lock history to track who enters and exits your home.
• Check the lock status remotely when paired with a SwitchBot Hub Mini (sold separately).

The Lock Pro is equipped with a long-life battery, lasting 9 to 12 months. For enhanced reliability, a main/sub dual-system rechargeable battery (sold separately) can be used.
