Configuració

1. Desembalatge i inspecció

Carefully remove the guitar from its packaging. Inspect the instrument for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all accessories are present.

2. Afinació inicial

Before playing, tune your guitar using an electronic tuner. Due to shipping and temperature changes, the strings may be out of tune. Gently stretch new strings to help them settle and hold tune better.

3. Adjusting the Truss Rod (if necessary)

The truss rod adjusts the neck's relief. If you experience fret buzz or high action, the neck may need adjustment. The QGT-10 features a heel adjustment truss rod for convenience. Use the appropriate hex wrench (not included) to make small, quarter-turn adjustments. Turn clockwise to reduce relief (straighten neck) and counter-clockwise to increase relief (add curve). Allow the neck to settle for a few hours after each adjustment.

4. Action Adjustment

The string action (height of strings above the fretboard) can be adjusted at the bridge saddles. Use a small hex wrench to raise or lower individual saddles to achieve your preferred playing feel. Ensure proper intonation after adjusting action.

Connect one end of a standard 1/4" instrument cable to the output jack on your guitar and the other end to the input of your ampmés viu.

3. Using the Tremolo Bridge

The synchronized tremolo bridge allows for pitch bending effects. Gently push or pull the tremolo arm to raise or lower the pitch of the notes. Excessive use or aggressive manipulation can affect tuning stability.

Manteniment

• Neteja: Wipe down the guitar body, neck, and strings with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove sweat and grime. Use guitar-specific cleaning products sparingly if needed.
• Substitució de cordes: Replace strings regularly, especially if they sound dull, are corroded, or break frequently. Change one string at a time to maintain neck tension.
• Cura del diapasó: Periodically clean and condition the Purpleheart fretboard with a suitable fretboard oil to prevent drying and cracking.

• Fret Buzz: Check neck relief (truss rod adjustment) and string action. Ensure frets are level.
