2. Instruccions de seguretat

Per evitar lesions a l'usuari o a altres persones i danys materials, cal seguir les instruccions següents. Un funcionament incorrecte a causa de la ignoració de les instruccions pot causar danys o perjudicis.

• Feu funcionar la unitat sempre sobre una superfície estable i anivellada.
• Do not block the air inlet or outlet. Maintain at least 20 cm clearance from walls or other objects.
• No introduïu els dits ni objectes estranys a l'entrada/sortida d'aire.
• Assegureu-vos que la font d'alimentació coincideixi amb el voltage specified on the rating label (220V).
• Do not use the unit in wet environments such as bathrooms without proper ventilation.

4. Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Traieu amb cura el deshumidificador del seu embalatge. Conserveu l'embalatge per a futurs emmagatzematges o transports.
2. Col·locació: Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Connexió d'alimentació: Connecteu el cable d'alimentació a una presa de corrent de 220 V amb connexió a terra.
4. Drainage Option: Decide between manual or continuous drainage.
• Drenatge manual: Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted. The unit will collect water in the 2L tank and automatically shut off when full.
• Drenatge continu: Connect the provided drainage hose to the continuous drainage outlet at the rear of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain, ensuring it is sloped downwards to allow water to flow freely.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The Genérico PD8-02AE features an intelligent control panel for easy operation.

5.1 Encès/Apagat

Premeu el botó PODER button to turn the dehumidifier on or off. The unit will start operating in its last used mode.

5.2 Intelligent Humidity Control

The dehumidifier monitors ambient humidity and operates automatically to maintain your desired level. When the set humidity is reached, the unit pauses to save energy and restarts if humidity levels rise again.

• Premeu el botó AJUSTE DE LA HUMITAT button to adjust the target humidity level. The range is typically between 30% and 80% Relative Humidity (RH) in 10% increments.
• The display will show the current humidity level and the set target.

5.3 Modes de funcionament

The unit offers two intelligent operating modes:

• Comfort Mode (RU): In this mode, the dehumidifier automatically adjusts the humidity level based on the ambient temperature to provide optimal comfort and efficiency.
• Continuous Mode (CO): Allows manual adjustment of the humidity level between 30% and 80% RH, in 10% intervals. This mode is ideal for specific situations or environments with persistently high humidity where precise control is desired.

5.4 Temporitzador de 24 hores

The adjustable timer allows you to program the dehumidifier to turn on or off automatically within a 1 to 24-hour period.

• Premeu el botó TEMPORIZADOR button to set the desired operating duration.
• Each press increases the time by one hour.
• This function helps save energy by ensuring the unit operates only when needed.

5.5 Descongelació automàtica

The unit features an intelligent automatic defrost function to prevent ice buildup on the coils, ensuring efficient operation in cooler environments.

• When the defrost indicator light illuminates, the dehumidification function temporarily pauses.
• The fan continues to operate to circulate air and melt any ice.
• Between 5°C and 12°C: The unit operates for 30 minutes, then defrosts for 10 minutes.
• Between 12°C and 16°C: The unit operates for 45 minutes, then defrosts for 10 minutes.
• Once defrosting is complete, normal dehumidification resumes automatically.

5.6 Water Tank Full Indicator & Auto Shut-off

The dehumidifier is equipped with an intelligent level sensor. When the 2L water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off to prevent overflow, and the 'Tank Full' indicator light will illuminate.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja del filtre d'aire

The removable and washable air filter traps dust and particles, improving air quality and unit performance. Clean it regularly, especially if the unit is used frequently.

1. Apagar: Desendolleu el deshumidificador de la presa de corrent.
2. Elimina el filtre: Locate the air filter at the rear of the unit and carefully pull it out.
3. Neteja el filtre: Rinse the filter under running water (not hot) or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. For stubborn dirt, use a mild detergent and soft brush.
4. Filtre sec: Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting. Do not expose to direct sunlight or use a dryer.
5. Reinstal·la el filtre: Torneu a introduir el filtre sec a la seva ranura.

6.2 Neteja del dipòsit d'aigua

Clean the water tank periodically to prevent mold and bacteria growth.
