Configuració i instal·lació
Before installation, ensure the water supply to the toilet is turned off and the tank is empty. Compare your tank dimensions to the product specifications to ensure a proper fit.
- Treure la palanca antiga: If replacing an existing lever, unscrew the nut from the inside of the toilet tank that secures the old lever. Remove the old lever and disconnect the chain from the flapper.
- Insert New Lever: Insert the new Westbrass D4142-2-26 lever handle through the hole in the front of the toilet tank. Ensure the handle is facing outwards and the brass arm is inside the tank.
- Palanca segura: From inside the tank, thread the mounting nut onto the lever shaft and tighten it by hand. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the tank or lever. The square mount bale helps ensure stable installation.
- Adjust Brass Arm: The solid brass arm is bendable. Gently bend the arm as needed to align it correctly with the flapper chain. The arm features multiple holes for precise chain attachment.
- Connect Flapper Chain: Attach the flapper chain to one of the holes at the end of the brass arm. Ensure there is a slight slack in the chain when the flapper is closed, but not so much that the lever has to be pressed excessively to lift the flapper.
- Prova de rentat: Turn the water supply back on and allow the tank to fill. Test the flush operation. If the flapper does not lift completely or does not seal properly, adjust the chain length or the bend of the brass arm.

To operate the toilet, simply press down on the lever handle. This action lifts the flapper inside the tank, allowing water to flow into the bowl and initiate the flush cycle. Release the handle once the flush begins. The flapper will then reseal, and the tank will refill.
