1. Introducció

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your COWSAR Electric Kettle, Model OP-GK2208EB. This appliance is designed for heating water to precise temperatures, offering features such as custom keep-warm settings, ambient lighting, and multiple safety protections. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

2. Instruccions de seguretat importants

Quan utilitzeu aparells elèctrics, sempre s'han de seguir les precaucions bàsiques de seguretat per reduir el risc d'incendi, descàrrega elèctrica i/o lesions a les persones, incloses les següents:

4. Configuració

1. Desembalar: Traieu amb cura tots els materials d'embalatge i inspeccioneu la tetera per detectar qualsevol dany.
2. Neteja inicial: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Col·locació: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Omplir la tetera

1. Press the one-key button on the lid to open it.
2. Fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Ensure the water level is between the 'MIN' (0.5L) and 'MAX' (1.7L) markings on the glass body. Do not overfill or underfill.
3. Tanqueu la tapa fermament fins que encaixi al seu lloc.

5.2 Engegada i configuració de la temperatura

1. Place the filled kettle onto the 360° cordless power base.
2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The kettle will beep once, and the digital display will briefly show '212℉' before displaying the current water temperature.
3. Rotate the temperature control knob located under the handle to select your desired temperature between 104℉ and 212℉. The selected temperature will flash twice before the display shows the actual water temperature.
4. Press the power button once to begin heating. The ambient LED light ring will illuminate and change colors as the water heats up, indicating the temperature progression.

5.3 Keep-Warm Function

To activate the Keep-Warm mode:

1. After selecting your desired temperature, press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds.
2. The display will show a 'Keep-Warm' icon, indicating the function is active. The kettle will maintain the set temperature for up to 2 hours.
3. Removing the kettle from the base will cancel the Keep-Warm function. To reactivate, place the kettle back on the base and repeat the steps.

5.4 Boiling Process and Auto-Shutoff

The kettle will automatically shut off once the water reaches the set temperature. You will hear three beeps indicating that the heating cycle is complete. The kettle also features boil-dry protection, which automatically turns off the heating element if there is no water inside or if it boils dry.

6. Neteja i Manteniment

Una neteja i un manteniment regulars allargaran la vida útil de la teva tetera.

1. Desconnecta sempre el bullidor de la presa de corrent i deixeu-lo refredar completament abans de netejar-lo.
2. Neteja exterior: Netegeu l'exterior de la tetera amb un damp drap. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius ni fregalls, ja que poden ratllar la superfície.
3. Neteja interior: The interior of the kettle, made of 304 food-grade stainless steel and borosilicate glass, is easy to clean. Rinse with clean water.
4. Descalcificació: Amb el temps, es poden acumular dipòsits minerals (calç) dins del bullidor, especialment en zones amb aigua dura. Per descalcificar:
   • Ompliu la tetera amb 1 part de vinagre blanc i 2 parts d'aigua.
   • Bring to a boil and let it stand for 30 minutes.
   • Descarteu la solució i esbandiu bé la tetera amb aigua neta diverses vegades.
   • Per a dipòsits persistents, repetiu el procés o utilitzeu una solució descalcificadora comercial seguint les seves instruccions.
5. Do not immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
