1. Instal·leu les bateries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the AFLT3 timer and insert the required batteries (not specified in input, assume standard AAA or AA).

3. Set Countdown:
   • Press and hold the "Month/Day" button until the screen digits begin to flash.
   • Short press the "Month/Day" button to adjust the time (days or months) for the selected filter stage.
   • Wait approximately 10 seconds for the digits to stop flashing, confirming the setting.
   • Press the "Start" button to activate the countdown for the selected channel.
4. Check Active Countdown:

   A flashing icon for the configured stage (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) indicates that its countdown is active.

5. Change Countdown Display:

   Short press the "Month/Day" button to switch between displaying the remaining time in months or days.

• Remaining Days/Months Display: Shows the unit of time for the countdown.

6.2. Resetting a Filter Countdown

After replacing a filter, it is crucial to reset its corresponding countdown on the AFLT3 timer:

1. Press the button for the filter stage (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) that you have replaced.
2. Press and hold the "Reset/Mute" button until the display for that stage resets to its initial set time.

6.3. Muting the Buzzer

If the buzzer is sounding due to a near-expiry or expired filter, you can temporarily mute it:

1. Press the "Reset/Mute" button once. This will mute the buzzer for the current alert cycle.
2. Note: The buzzer will sound again after 2 hours if the filter is not reset.
