The hidden fence is created by burying a wire in your yard that sends a digital FM radio signal. Your dog wears a receiver collar that triggers an audible warning, followed by a mild correction if they continue toward the boundary.
Remove the battery cap using the provided tool, remove the old battery, wait five minutes, and insert the proper battery (e.g., SAFT 3.6V for R9) based on your model's instructions.
First, check if the receiver battery needs replacement and ensure the collar fits snugly with contact posts touching the skin. If both are fine, you may need to increase the signal range on the transmitter or adjust the collar's correction level.
