Check the Wi-Fi signal strength by placing a smart phone or device in the exact location you plan to install the station. Ensure you have a strong signal (2 or 3 bars) to verify a proper connection before mounting.

Slide the battery cover open to access the battery compartment. Remove the old batteries and properly dispose of them, then install 3 fresh AAA alkaline batteries and slide the cover closed.
