  This commonly occurs if the label paper is installed upside down. Ensure the thermal side of the paper is facing the correct direction, typically face up or towards the print head, as specified in your manual.

• Why does the printout look faded or light?

  Faded prints are often caused by using non-genuine or low-quality thermal paper. If using genuine paper, try cleaning the print head with alcohol to remove any residue.
