SofaBaton remotes support a vast database of over 500,000 devices via Infrared (IR) and Bluetooth. Some models, like the X1, also support Wi-Fi control for specific smart devices like Roku and Sonos.
For models that include a Hub (like the X1/X1S), the remote communicates with the Hub via Bluetooth, and the Hub sends the IR/Wi-Fi signals to your devices. The remote generally cannot control devices directly without the Hub.
The X1 Hub is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You can link your account in the respective smart home apps to turn specific Activities on or off using voice commands.
Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network as your Hub. Keep the remote close to the Hub during synchronization to prevent signal loss.
